He said, "Wanna work here? Marry me for six months."

Sophie said yes, even though it sounded weird.

As they spent time together, something funny happened. They didn't remember a wild night they had!

But then, trouble knocked. Mean people wanted to break them apart, and one guy wanted to steal the boss's job.

CHAPTER 1 - The Proposal
Sophie was sleeping soundly, wrapped up in her warm blanket like a cozy burrito. She had stayed up late the night before, binging on her favorite TV show, and her dreams were filled with plot twists and cliffhangers. Suddenly, the door to her bedroom burst open, and her mom barged in wielding a mopping stick like a warrior princess. "Sophie, wake up! You have a job interview in two hours!" Her mom shouted, brandishing the mop like a weapon. Sophie groaned and rolled over, rubbing the sleep crust off her eyes. "Mom, what's going on? Why do you have a mop?" "I'm here to wake you up, sleepyhead!" her mom exclaimed, twirling the mop around like a baton. "You can't be late for your interview! You need to get up and get ready right now!" Sophie sat up in bed, still dazed from her dreams. She looked at her mom and then at the mop, trying to make sense of what was happening. "Mom, why do you have a mop?" Sophie asked, her voice still heavy with sleep. Her mom smiled slyly. "Oh, this old thing? I just thought it would be a good way to get your attention," she said, winking at Sophie. Sophie shook her head and rubbed her eyes again, trying to wake up fully. "Okay, okay. I'm up. Let me get dressed, and I'll be ready in no time," she said, climbing out of bed and stretching her arms. Her mom nodded, still holding the mop like a weapon. "Good, good. I'll make you some breakfast while you get ready. You don't want to go to your interview on an empty stomach!" she said, twirling the mop one last time before heading out of the room. Sophie couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation. She shook her head and got dressed quickly, still chuckling to herself. As she walked out of her room, she saw her mom in the kitchen, preparing breakfast "What's for breakfast?" Sophie asked, still smiling. "Your favorite: pancakes, eggs, and bacon," her mom replied, grinning from ear to ear. "Now eat up, and good luck on your interview!" Sophie sat down at the table, and her mom served her a heaping plate of pancakes, eggs, and bacon. She dug in, savoring the delicious flavors and feeling energized for her job interview. After finishing her breakfast, Sophie grabbed her purse and headed out the door. She hailed a taxi and gave the driver the address of the interview location: "GLOBAL TECHNICAL COSTCO." As the taxi pulled up to the building, Sophie checked her reflection in the mirror, making sure her outfit was just right. She stepped out of the taxi, feeling confident and ready to face the interview. But as she walked through the lobby, she bumped into a man who seemed to be in a hurry. The man spilled his coffee all over her dress, ruining the fabric. Sophie gasped when she saw that her gown was ruined. She clenched her fist in anger, feeling a surge of rage wash through her. She had saved almost all her income just to afford this dress for her interview and it had to be ruined? Slowly, she raised her head to look at the man who ruined her dress. He wasn't remorseful, he exuded an aura of pride, and that angered Sophie more. "What the hell is wrong with you?" she yelled, her face turning red with anger. "You just ruined my dress! Are you blind or something?" The man looked unfazed by how she was yelling. She was attracting attention, and many passersby who were present at the scene shook their heads in pity for Sophie but she was less concerned. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to" Sophie cut him off. "Sorry doesn't cut it, buddy. You owe me a new dress, and you better pay up." The man pulled out his wallet and handed Sophie some cash. "Here, take this. That's all I have on me right now." He said coldly and walked away. "Hump! A proud peacock" Sophie muttered. Her eyes lit up when she saw the money sprawled all over the floor and smiled. "Bingo," She said and smiled before bending down to pick up all the money. Sophie counted the money, satisfied that it would cover the cost of a new dress and enough to transport her home after the interview. She shoved the cash into her purse and stormed off towards the elevators, muttering curses under her breath. As she rode up to the interview floor, Sophie tried to calm down and focus on the task at hand. She took deep breaths, trying to clear her mind and shake off the anger from the coffee incident. When she arrived at the interview room, she was greeted by a friendly receptionist who gave her a warm smile. "Welcome to Global Technical Costco! Your interviewer will be with you shortly. Please take a seat and make yourself comfortable." Sophie sat down, feeling a bit jittery but also excited about the opportunity ahead. She looked around the room, taking in the sleek design and high-tech gadgets on display. Just as she was settling in, the door opened, and her interviewer walked in. "Hello, Sophie! Welcome to Global Technical Costco. I'm excited to hear about your qualifications and experience. Let's get started!" Sophie stood up to greet her interviewer, feeling a mix of nerves and excitement. As she followed the interviewer down the hallway, she couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. She suddenly realized that the man she had cursed out earlier was walking in front of her, and he turned around and gave her a smirk. Sophie was shocked to the core, realizing that she had just insulted the person who might be working at the same company as her. "Oh my God," she thought to herself, "my mouth has finally put me in trouble." She tried to think of a way to apologize to the man, but before she could say anything, they arrived at the interview room. The interviewer ushered Sophie in and introduced her to the rest of the interview panel, which included the man who had spilled coffee on her dress earlier. Sophie's heart sank as she realized that she would have to face him again. As the interview began, Sophie tried her best to focus on the questions and show off her qualifications. But every time she looked at the man who had spilled coffee on her dress, she felt a pang of embarrassment and regret. To make matters worse, his scrutinizing eyes were on her throughout the interview. Finally, the interview came to a close, and Sophie thanked the panel for their time. As she got up to leave, the man who had spilled coffee on her dress approached her. They were the only ones in the room. "I can see you're qualified for the job, but I won't give it to you" he smirked and Sophie's eyes widened. This was the only job that could cater to her and her mother's bills, and there was no way to get another job that pays higher than this company. "I am sorry for earlier sir" She clasped her hands together and began to plead. "This is the only job that can cater to my needs and that of my mum's own" she pleaded. "You can get the job only on one condition," he said, looking calm and composed as though he hadn't uttered any words. "And that is?" She asked slowly, clenching the hem of her dress tightly. He smiled and walked towards her, walking around in circles till he finally got to her front, maintaining a level gaze with her. "You will be my wife for six months" he declared and Sophie's blood went cold immediately. "What?"
