chapter 5

Andrew's POV

I met Skylar im my room, she was seated on my bed waiting for me .

"What the hell are you trying to do ?" She asked as soon as i got into the room.

From her voice i guess she was trying to suppress her anger .

"What do you mean by that ? " I wasn't understanding what she meant.

"Don't f*****g give me that bull s**t what are you trying to do with my friend" she snapped .

"I'm not trying to do anything ...."

"That girl has been through a lot andrew , she's married to an abusive husband, and i wouldn't sit here and let you toy with her emotions "

"Skylar I know that she's married , and I'm not trying to toy with her emotions or anything like that , skylar you know me , I'm not one to f**k around , like I've not been with anyone since Clarissa "i explained

"Andrew i know , its just that i would want to see any of you getting hurt " Skylar explained i could clearly see how worried she was .

"I know sky i know , but i like her , i might nit know just yet if i love her but i really like her , i want to love her , spoil her , make her happy ,also help her take that hideous mask away from her face , sky i know she's married and i promise im not going to force her into anything " i assure her , then walked closer to where she was seated on the couch and pulled her in for a hug .

After Skylar and i was done talking , she helped me get ready , by picking out the clothes im to wear.

I got out of the room and met Allison at the living room , she was dressed in a white ankle length body con dress which she paired with a cropped jean jacket and a black sandals , she had her hair in a ponytail .

She f*****g looked so breathtaking with the dress complementing her hourglass figure .

" Let's get going " i said to her .

"Bye sweetie's have fun "sklar called from behind us .

We took the elevator down to the restaurant , o requested for us to be seated in somewhere secluded from others .

When we finally got seated we ordered for a bottle of white wine which was brought to us by a waitress .

"I've heard a whole lot about you from sky that i was wondering when i was finally going to meet the said beauty " i said to her trying to initiate a conversation .

"I didn't really think that Skylar would talk about me that much " she whilt having the same shocked expression as when we were on the plane .

"Why do you think so , you know she actually loves and adore you " i asked her

"Yeh i know she loves me , like my life now , its all thanks to her , but i just didn't expect , to be talked about , growing up i was thought not to expect much so ...... I just did that " she explained to which i understood

" Now you know that she does , she loves you and isn't ashamed of talking about her beauty and cute best friend " I took a sip of my wine nit breaking eye contact from her .

"Yeh I guess , so tell me about your daughter " she requested looking so curious and interested .

" Oh zaylee " i said pausing for a while as the thought of cute little zaylee before i spoke .

"Kaylee she's a cutie , after Carissa my ex wife and Kaylee's mother died while birthing kaylee . I was so heartbroken , zaylee , gods greatest gift to my life , she was gods sent to me , she healed me , gave me a reason to life . Zaylee , she hates when someone invades her privacy , she's sweet , but at the same time she has a very huge anger issue , " i paused for a while to take in her reaction , when i noticed she was paying attention to me i then continued.

"She loves dressing up , she loves gifts but mostly she loves spending time with her family , mostly me "

" You know I've been married for over Three years , and I've been trying for a child for the past three years now without any success , not even a miscarriage , hmmmm the doctors said there's nothing wrong with me " i noticed her eyes become glassy but then she tried suppressing it all .

I took out some tissues from the small box on the table and handed it to her , which she collected saying a little thank you , she dabbed the tears from her eyes before it could fall .

"Im so sorry , we were met to be having a nice dinner to get to know each other and I'm here bugging you with my tears and problems " she said laughing softly.

"Its okay , it's all part of getting to know each other " i replied smiling to comfort her , i mean its a good thing that she was opening up to me , which shows that she was getting comfortable with me .

" I think its this we ordered , its already seven "Allison suggests.

"Yeh " i replied then tapoed on a button which was on the table so we could call for the waiter .

We ordered our food then spent the rest if the night talking and getting to know each other before heading back to the penthouse.
