She had smooth dark hair, bright eyes, and a beautiful smile that appeared only when she truly felt happy. Many students admired her, but people often misunderstood her personality. Some thought she was proud. Some thought she was too serious. But the truth was different. Treasure simply didn’t trust people easily. She was hardworking and one of the smartest girls in class. She always focused on her studies because she wanted to make her parents proud. Even though she acted strong outside, she was emotional inside. And there was one person who understood her very well… 🌸 Sarah Johnson Sarah was Treasure’s best friend since JSS1. Unlike Treasure, Sarah was cheerful, dramatic, and very talkative. If there was a secret in school, Sarah would somehow hear about it before everyone else. Teachers knew her because of her noise. Students loved her because she could make anyone laugh. She always teased Treasure about love even though Treasure hated such conversations. “One day you’ll fall in love,” Sarah always said. No one knew why he transferred to Bright Future High School in the middle of the session. But one thing was certain… His arrival was about to change everything. ★★★★★ CHAPTER 1 A NORMAL MONDAY MORNING Monday mornings at Bright Future High School were always chaotic. Students hurried through the school gate while some ran because they were late. The school compound was filled with different sounds. “Buy your snacks here!” “Guy, copy assignment for me!” “Assembly has started!” Treasure walked through the school gate with her bag hanging neatly on her shoulder. She adjusted her uniform and sighed. “Another stressful week,” she muttered. Suddenly someone jumped beside her. “Good morning, Miss Serious Face!” Treasure didn’t even need to turn around. “Sarah.” Sarah laughed loudly. “Ah ah, at least smile small.” “It’s too early for your noise.” Sarah placed her arm around Treasure’s shoulder. “Today feels different.” Treasure raised an eyebrow. “Different how?” *“I don’t know…” Sarah said dramatically. “Maybe something interesting will happen today.” Treasure rolled her eyes. “You’re watching too many movies.” After morning assembly ended, students returned to their classrooms.
