Zinnia I leaned my back against my bed frame and rested my head against my kneecap. My head was tilted to the side because, for some reason, I couldn't look forward. I couldn't meet the eyes of my stalker after what I'd just done with him. I didn't feel an iota of shame then, but right now, I did. And I wanted nothing more than for the earth to open up and swallow me. I stole a quick gaze in his direction and realised his gaze had been fixated on me all this time. I didn't bother looking away and instead studied him. He was now wearing all black except for the face cap. In the darkness of the room, his purple eyes glowed, however, the mark against his left eye could not be seen. His mouth carved into a thin line and he narrowed his eyes, as though studying me too.
