Chapter Ten: Farfalla

What the hell is she doing here getting lovers ice cream with Luka? Especially when she was the one getting all jealous about Kagami earlier. While I'm glaring at them, Kagami grabs my hand and starts walking towards them.

"Wait Kagami, do you want to go somewhere else?" I ask while trying to distract her.

"No I'm fine with this. Besides Adrien this is our spot, and Andre is a hard man to find for the lovers ice cream nowadays." As she pulls my arm harder, I attempt one more time to stop her.

"I was just saying the line looks long, and it's hot out today. I just didn't want to waste anytime with you." Then she starts to slightly laugh.

"Adrien you're a terrible liar. If you're trying to distract me from Marinette and Luka it's not going to work. I noticed them when we first arrived."

"Wait you knew this whole time? You're telling me that this doesn't bother you?" I ask her and she looks and me and smiles.

"No Adrien it doesn't. It's not like you and her are doing anything or even talking right? So why let her interrupt our time together?" She finally drags me into the line behind them and then Luka notices us.

"Oh hello Kagami and..oh and hello to you Adrien." Luka says while smiling at us. Don't say hello to me like that you bastard. When I look down I notice that they are holding hands and it makes me want my blood boil.

"Hello Luka and to you as well Marinette." As she turns around towards us but she avoids looking at me in the eye.

"Nice to see both of you here. Are you guys getting the love ice cream?" Marinette asks while focusing towards Kagami. She grabs my arm suddenly and holds me closer.

"Yes we are. I'm assuming you guys are here as well for that same reason." Kagami claims.

"Yes we are. We are actually on a date today." As they get their ice cream and we grab ours, so all sit down on the bench.

"Actually, we are glad to see both of you here today, right Marinette?" Luka asks her.

"Oh yes sure. We were just talking about it." She replies while still avoiding eye contact with me.

"We wanted to say that we are sorry for that night at the club. I think we can all admit it was drinks going around and lots of things happening that night." Then Luka goes on to explain that he thinks everything was a big misunderstanding.

"What about what you said to Adrien about always loving him doing things like that with you? That gave me the impression that there was something else going on." Kagami asks while looking at her intensely. I might need to save her quickly.

"Well Marinette and I talked about it and the night before we all know that Marinette and I were having s*x for the first time. When I spoke to her earlier about it, we both agreed that she was talking about me, and that her and Adrien aren't interested in each other in the slightest." Suddenly I drop our ice cream in shock and I just stare at her.

"Adrien? Oh no, our ice cream from Andre! Quickly we have to get another before he packs up." Kagami exclaims while quickly getting up. I can't take my eyes off of Marinette. Did she really say that she wasn't interested in me in the slightest? What about last night? Screw that! What about this morning?

If she really did feel that way why get so jealous over Kagami and I.

"Well Kagami I'll go with you to get a new ice cream, and in the meantime we will give Adrien and Marinette a chance to talk things over." Luka replies while chasing down Andre.

As we sat in silence for a few moments all we could do was stare at each other. Then suddenly she sighs and looks away from me.

"How's your date doing?" She asks.

"The same as yours." I roll my eyes. The silence after that was so loud you could slice it with a knife.

"Good that you're finally sticking to your own relationship." She snaps at me.

"Oh don't do that." I growl at her.

"Do what? I'm just stating the facts right here in front of me. Actually it's a good thing you and Kagami are doing so well, because that means I can finally focus on Luka." Then I turn her around to look at me, and I glare at her.

"That's what you wanted this whole time right? You're right because when I get home I'm going to f**k her brains out." I snap at her and then she pushes me off.

"Wow congratulations. The first time you f****d the brains out of anyone good boy. Big boy." Then she rolls her eyes and folds her arms.

"You're such a f*****g liar." I reply.

"Oh I'm the liar how so?"

"Like you weren't just screaming my name last night." I tease her.

"In your dreams kitty, you were the one screaming my name! Besides you'll never have me again!" Then she gets up and suddenly grabs Luka, but a suspicious butterfly attaches itself to Luka's ice cream.

"L-Luka? Wait he wasn't even angry what's going on? Luka fight it listen to me please!" Then I grab Marinette and Kagami and I pull them away from Luka.

"We have to go now! Regardless of why this is happening, we can't just stand here to find out!" She still tries to fight to get away from me.

"I can help him! Let go of me!" She screams out.

Luka's POV:

Mysterious voice: Luka right?

Luka: Who are you? Leave me alone!

Mysterious voice: I'm here to help you.

Luka: I don't need your help!

Mysterious voice: Not even with your dream girl Marinette?

Luka: Never! You stole the butterfly Miraculous, and you expect me to think you're here to help me?

Mysterious voice: Just look.

Suddenly it starts to show me images and memories of Marinette and Adrien together. Starting with the party when she just disappeared.

Mysterious voice: Isn't weird that both Marinette and Adrien disappeared that night. Then when they came back, it was also around the same time. Do you think it's because she felt awkward with you instead and wanted to be with him?

Luka: No! She needed to use the bathroom and was hiding from the Akuma you caused!

Mysterious voice: I'm sorry Luka but to show you the truth, I must show you more.

Then she shows me the night of the triple date at Marinette's house.

Mysterious voice: Isn't it weird that Marinette just ran off from you after you kissed her? Who was the one that ran after her, it wasn't you. It was Adrien Agreste.

Luka: ....No that's not...he said he left something downstairs. She need to go get...water.

Mysterious voice: It's starting to come together isn't it? Let's continue.

Finally she shows me the night of the s*x club.

Luka: Not this memory. Stop it!

Mysterious: The way she smiled at him, and the way she kissed him, she never did that for you did she? She never kissed you like that. The way they were holding each other was so comfortable. Almost like they've done it before.

Luka: ...!! No...stop!!

Mysterious voice: I'm here to help you Luka. Let me in and I can help you get her back to you. Like how you guys used to be. I can help you get rid of Adrien for you.

Luka: How...?

Mysterious voice: Let me give you power to seperate them forever.

Luka: You just want the Ladybug and Chat Miraculous!

Mysterious voice: No it's not for me, it's for you Luka.

Luka: What...

Mysterious Voice: That's how I want to help you. When the two Miraculous are combined they can make any wish in the world. I feel like Ladybug and Chat noir are selfish to not alone share this information, they also refuse to let anyone else make a wish. It is a very cruel world. Luka if really want Marinette, then let me help you.

Luka: Yes...Farfalla.

Marinette's POV:

"Luka!" Suddenly a purple light shines through him and his ice cream turns into a pendant, and is wearing a blue and purple jumpsuit with a long gold chain wrapped around his waist.

"You both need to run now!" As Adrien grabs me, with one thrust Luka throws the Gold chain, and it throws Adrien off of the bridge into the water.

Next thing I know his chain moves on its own and he pulls me closer to him.

"I'll never let anyone touch you again. I'll always protect you." That reminds me of the conversation we had earlier. Oh no I have to help him, so I put my hand on the side of his face, and I turn him to look at me.

"Luka why...?" Then he takes his helmet off and he places his hand on my cheek.

"I won't let anyone take you away from me Marinette." Then he as he gets closer to me I start to feel guilty. This is all my fault I put doubt into his mind. I shouldn't have been focusing on Adrien, I should've considered Luka's feelings in all of this. I didn't mind hurting Kagami but I never thought about Luka's feelings.

Finally before he kisses me, Chat noir knocks him away from me with his baton, and then he takes me in his arms. As he tries to run and jump to the next building, I can see Luka's gold chain turn into a spear and start to head towards chat. I quickly turn his around and the spear makes a deep wound near my right rib, and we crash into the side of a building.

When I open my eyes, I can see Chat holding me in his arms calling out my name.

"Marinette! Stay with me!" Even though it hurts, I'm not hurt that bad, but I play the role so I can go transform.

"Go quickly! Kagami is still back there! I'll be right here." He nods and hurries off to where Luka is. While I get up holding my ribs, Tikki comes behind me.

"Marinette are you alright?" She asks while taking a look at my wound.

"I'm fine, because with the powers of the Miraculous Ladybug, it'll be like it never happened. We have to hurry because I have a feeling that Chat will be out for revenge, and he won't be thinking straight." As I transform, I can see Luka has Adrien pinned between two pieces of concrete. Before he takes Chat noir's ring, I snag his arm, and kick him in the shoulder.

"Don't make me do this Luka. I know you're good, so let go of those angry emotions and reject the akuma." Suddenly he kicks me in my ribs again and Chat noir catches me.

"Never! Farfalla is going to help me get my wish! The only thing I want in this world! To do that give me your miraculous!" He yells while exchanging blows with me.

"Now Chat!" As I pick tackle him down and tie him down with my yo-yo, and I trap his gold chain around my rib cage.

"Cataclysm!" As he destroys the pendant, I catch the akuma with my power, and I revert everything back to normal.

"M'Lady!" As he helps me up, I quickly rush to Luka.

"Are you alright Luka?" I ask while helping him up.

"Yes I am now thank you. I'm very sorry for the trouble that I've caused you." He pleads with me. It's me who should be sorry.

"I was on duty and I didn't see anything to cause you distress. Can you tell me what happened?" I asked.

"I'm sorry I can't remember. All I remember is that there was a faint voice asking me if my name was Luka. Then it all turns black I'm sorry."

"It's alright. One last question, do you know anyone by Farfalla?" I ask.

"Seems familiar, but I just can't seem to remember." Then I remember that Chat will be looking for me at that building. When I turn around I can see him helping up Kagami.

"Alright kitty I'm about to transform back. I have to go! Pound it?"

"Pound it." As we fist bump I hurry off quickly and I go back to that building.

"Marinette! Where are you?" Then I quickly de-transform and come around the corner.

"Chat?" He grabs me suddenly and he holds me into his arms.

"Why did you do this? Why would you jump in front of me like that?" He yells.

"Just because you are a superhero doesn't mean that you're invincible!" Then he brushes his fingers along my ribs.

"You could've died..." he mumbled. I know it not his fault that he is worried. If he knew I was ladybug, knowing him he probably still would've been mad, but he'd also know we have been through worse.

"I know...I'm so sorry." As I hug him tightly, he de-transforms back and he starts to quietly cry.

"If I lost you Marinette I don't know what I'd do." He says while embracing me.

"Yes I know, but I'm okay now. The miraculous ladybug repaired everything, so it's like it never even happened. For now you have to go find Kagami she will be worried about you." As I start to pull away and I head towards the bridge, he suddenly grabs my arm.

"Are you...going back to Luka?" He asks while his head hangs down.

"I have to check on him. He was just akumatized and I feel like that w-!" Before I could finish my sentence, he pulls me closer to him and kisses me.

"A-Adrien...mmm!" As he pulls me closer, and kisses me deeper, I can't help wrapping my arms around him. Then as our lips slowly part, and places his hand on my cheek and stares into my eyes.

"That's not what I meant Marinette. Even though I get why it has to be this way, it doesn't mean I like when he touches you. I don't like seeing you two on dates, and I definitely don't like him touch you." When he kisses me again, I hold him tighter. I love him. I really do.

"Adrien I need you to transform." He looks up at me with a confused look on his face.

"Why?" He asks.

"Just trust me. I'll explain on the way." When he finally transforms, I quickly start to head back to my house.

Chat Noir's POV:

"Marinette where are you?" Luka shouts.

"She's fine. After we got attacked, I took Marinette back to her house." I responded.

"What about Adrien? Where is he? I tried to look in the water but I couldn't find him."

"I well..." Suddenly Ladybug shows up and helps me out.

"I took him somewhere safe. Chat there's something I need to talk to you about." She grabs me and both go to our hideout on the Eiffel Tower. No matter how I think of it, she kind of reminds me of Marinette. Also why would she lie about taking Adrien somewhere safe.

"Chat! Are you listening to me?" She asks while leaning in next to me.

"Yes M'Lady." She starts to give me a suspicious look.

"Oh yea then what was I talking about?"

"That I looked pawsitivley perfect today?" As I laugh, she hits my head.

"Get your head in the game kitty. Now did you hear what Luka said earlier?"

"As a matter of fact, she mentioned named Farfalla, but we have never heard of her right?"

"No not at all. That's not even the weirdest thing. I was on patrol and I saw everything. He was just getting ice cream for his girlfriend, he wasn't upset at all."

"That's not his girlfriend!" I'd never let that happen no way. Ladybug starts to laugh slightly.

"What is so funny?" I ask while glaring at her.

"You're so protective over her, I'm kind of jealous." As she snickers, she just just reminds me more of Marinette.

"Moving on, we have to figure out this Farfalla person's moves. All we know for sure is that this person has the butterfly miraculous for sure. However based upon Luka, they're different from Monarch. This person uses something else to lure akumas to them. We need to be careful from here on out."

"Yes ma'am of course." As we go our separate ways, I start to head back to the bridge and I quickly de-transform to meet up with the others.

"Adrien! Are you alright? Ladybug said she brought you to a safe location, but I was still worried." Kagami yells while jumping into my arms.

"I'm alright Kagami I promise. I wanted make sure that you guys were okay?" I ask.

"I'm fine and Luka is as well. Chat noir took Marinette back to her house."

"Should we go check on her? I'm worried about her." Luka replies. Oh no my clothes are still in her bedroom.

"No I think that she got injured, or at least that is what Ladybug told me. So I think we need to give her sometime to rest. For now we should all go home." As I start to walk to Kagami's car, Luka suddenly grabs my arm.

"Adrien. I think we need to talk." Luka starts to glare at me.

"Well I'll be waiting at the car." Kagami replies and heads to the car.

"What is it that you need Luka?" As much as I don't want to be sitting here having this conversation I have to. Then as soon as I leave, I will go to Marinette, and make sure she's alright.

"Do you truly love Kagami?" He asks. That question makes me tremble slightly.

"Why would you ask that, of course I do." I reply quickly.

"If that's all you needed I'll be heading off. Kagami is waiting for me." As I try to quickly turn around and walk away, something he says stops me.

"Let me rephrase. Do you have any feelings for Marinette?" That question stops me in my tracks as I turn my head to look at him.

"What...did you just say?"

"I have been wanting to ask you that since the night at the club. Let me be clear, I love Marinette, and I'd do anything for her. I'm not giving up on her." Then I grit my teeth and start to walk back to the car with Kagami.

"Hey is everything alright? What did Luka say?" Kagami asks.

"I'm sorry Kagami, I don't want to talk about it. For now I have to run some errands and I will be going home now." As I walk away, all that is on my mind, is getting back to Marinette. The first few steps I take turn into speed walking, and finally I full fledge start running to Marinette's

Mysterious voice POV:

I'm surprised you've managed to slip my grasp Marinette. However someday I will get you, and when I do you'll wish you never met me.
