L   U   N   A      Kate said that Alyssa was super excited when Kate told her that she was going to Disneyland. I learned that Alyssa had been wanting to go to Disneyland since she was two, but, Kate never had enough money to take her there.      We had a little conversation when I was picking up Alyssa this morning. Kate told me how she felt like she had failed being a good mother. She said she failed her son and she was going to failed her daughter too. She even told me how she worked over night when Alyssa said she wanted a new plastic tea set or a new tutu or plastic tiaras, she was sick a couple of times because she worked too much but she still managed to do the chores, working, and taking care of her daughter. She said she didn't want her daughter to feel lonely, so she tried to spend most of her time with Alyssa even with papers to work on and a phone on her hands.      Kate was the perfect example of a perfect mother. She was so gentle, caring, and loving. Her voice was always soft and her touch was very gentle. She was a strong woman. She had a really bad past, it was clear in her eyes, but, she still hadn't gave up. She always covered her face with make-up, people were too busy thinking about themselves to notice what was underneath it.      The drive to Disneyland was around forty minutes. Alyssa was asleep for about fifteen minutes during the drive. We spent those forty minutes mostly in silence, the only sounds were the songs that was playing. Every now and then, Alyssa would sing along to the songs she knew. Her voice was so cute. She confidently sang without even noticing she got most of the lyrics wrong, sometimes she would just mumbles the song. That was what I like about being a kid. Kids live at the moment without a care in the world. They lived in a little wonderland inside their brains, too pure to notice how cruel this world could be.      "You have reached your destination." Aiden said in a fake lady voice.      "Yay!" Alyssa giggled excitedly. "Let's go! Let's go!"      "Easy there, princess." Aiden smiled at her and got off from the car as I did too. He walked to Alyssa's side and picked her up from the car.      Once we were inside, Aiden put Alyssa down on her feet. She ran away while jumping and giggled in excitement. Aiden and I ran to her side, we both grabbed each of her hands so we wouldn't lose her.      "Don't run, Alyssa, you could've fall." I warned her while gently pinched her cheek.      She giggled and kept on jumping. "I'm in Disneylaaaand!" She looked up to me and then to Aiden. "Hey, look!" She pointed to something ahead of us. She was pointing to two girls that was wearing Mickey Mouse ears.      "Do you want to get that too?" Aiden asked her.      "Yeah!"      Alyssa and I got ourselves Mickey Mouse ears. Mine had a red ribbon and Alyssa had a pink one. It was kind of loose on her head because her head was too small. She looked cute. We even got Aiden one, it was the one that had a Wizard hat attached to it between the round ears.      "Heck, I'm not going to wear that."      "Oh, come on! You'll hurt her feelings." I looked at Alyssa who was looking somewhere ahead. She turned around and smiled.      "Come on, Aiden! We have to match!" She took the Mickey Mouse ears from my hand and looked up at him. Aiden said nothing which caused her to look down at her feet. "Awe, you don't like it."      "Damn." Aiden sighed and took it from Alyssa's tiny hands. "Alright, I'll wear it for you." He placed it on his head. He looked cute!      I burst into small laughter. He glared at me and I immediately stopped laughing. "You look cute!" I giggled and squeezed his cheeks. He looked down at me and whoa, he was blushing. I didn't know I was able to make the bad boy blush.      "Now, we're all matched! We should go to the castle!" She started running away again. This time to the direction of the castle.       Aiden grabbed my wrist when I was about to run after Alyssa. He leaned in and whispered on my ear, "I dare you to tell me I'm cute one more time, sunshine."      I turned my head to face him. I realized how close we were. Our noses were almost touching and I could feel his warm breath on my face. "You look as cute as a newborn." I smirked.      He grinned and leaned closer. He placed both of his hands on my waist, our nose was touching and my breathing was getting heavier.      "Are you going to kiss?" We flinched and quickly pulled away. I looked down to see Alyssa, she had her hands covering her eyes. When did she get here again?      "Shit." Aiden cursed under his breath and looked away.      "Come on! We have to go to the castle!" She pouted.      "Okay, princess." Aiden and I said simultaneously. We looked at each other before we started to laugh. We walked to the castle. On our way there, a lot of girls were eye-raping Aiden.      Once we got there, I insisted to take a picture in front of it. Aiden asked another visitor to take a picture of us. I looked at the picture on his phone, Alyssa was on Aiden's shoulder, one of her hands was placed on his head while the other one was held by Aiden's hand so she wouldn't fall. I was standing beside Aiden, hand intertwined with his. We were all smiling. It was perfect.      After we spent some time there, we decided to have lunch. "Can we get ice creams after this? And cotton candy? And chocolate?" Alyssa asked.      "Are you sure you wouldn't get diabetes by all those sweets?" Aiden asked.      "What is diabetes?" Alyssa asked innocently while chewing her lunch. Aiden chuckled at her innocence.      "Ofcourse, you can get ice cream after this." I said to her.      "And cotton candy? And chocolate?"      "Yes." I said and she smiled.      We got ice creams and cotton candies. We got some chocolates but we decided not to eat all of it all at once. We were walking when Alyssa spotted Mickey.      "Mickey!" Alyssa started running away to Mickey Mouse. I approached her with Aiden behind me. I asked Aiden to took some pictures of me and Alyssa with Mickey.      "Guess it's not only Alyssa who got really excited." He chuckled and I glared at him.      We really wanted to go on the rides but we couldn't risk having Alyssa wait by herself. God knows what could happen to her if we left her side.      The sun was setting and we decided to go home since it wouldn't be good for Alyssa to stay out late. On our way home, we stopped at McDonald's drive-thru and got cheeseburgers for dinner.      "Did you have fun?" Aiden asked Alyssa and looked at her through the rear-view mirror.      "Yeah." She yawned.      "Do you want to go there again?" He asked again. There was no answer. I turned to see her.      "She's asleep." I told him.      "How did she fall asleep that fast?" He chuckled and I didn't bother to answer. "Did you have fun?" He asked me.      "Yeah. I had fun seeing you with Mickey Mouse ears the whole day." I smirked.      "You'd never let that one go, wouldn't you?"      "Never!" I laughed. "I have to show the pictures to the boys."      "Don't you dare!"      "What will you do if I did?"      "I'll attack you with kisses." He smirked. My laughter died and I blinked a few times while looking at him. "You look cute when you blush."      I rolled my eyes. "You look cute as Mickey." I smirked.      "I didn't mind being Mickey as long as you're my Minnie." He said and I blushed. "Anyways, since when did Mickey has a glorious six packs and muscles?"      I slapped his arms playfully. "Hey! Don't attack the driver!"      "Can your ego get any bigger?" I rolled my eyes.      "No. But, I know something that can." He wiggled his eyebrows.      "Ew!" I scrunched my nose. Thank God, Alyssa was asleep.      A few minutes later we arrived at Alyssa's. Aiden refused to come in so I picked her up. Kate was asleep on the couch when I walked in. I decided not to wake her and went upstairs to Alyssa's room. I placed her on her bed and covered half of her body with blanket. I kissed her forehead and left.      Aiden drove me to my house, he walked me to my porch and we bid goodbyes. "Thank you for today. Goodnight, Mickey." I smiled at him.      "Goodnight, Minnie."      I'd love to be your Minnie.
