L   U   N   A      When I woke up the next day, I planned on cooking dinner for Aiden. He seemed really sad yesterday and I wanted to do something for him since he brought me to Queensboro Bridge.      I admitted to myself that I actually cared about this guy. He was not just some other guy. He was special in some ways. In so many ways, he seemed like he didn't care at all about what was going around him. Everyone was too blind to see what was inside him. He cared about his family and that was one trait that every teenage boys lacked. All they did was fooling around with their friends, going out with girls, and spending money like it could came to them just in a blink of an eye.      It was all very clear to me that Aiden had never felt loved or cared. I knew how bad it felt when you spent most of your times making people happy and they didn't appreciate it one bit.       I was waiting for Aiden, leaning against his locker. A couple of minutes later he came and noticed me there. "Hey, what's up?" He said.      "Hey, do you have plan for tonight?"      "Uh, no. Why?" He furrowed his eyebrows.      "Do you want to come over to my house?" I asked. He smirked and leaned against the locker next to me. His eyes were light up with amusement. "It's nothing like what you think it is."      "So, what are we going to do in your house?" He winked.      "Snap out of your dreams, Aiden." I rolled my eyes. "If you don't want to come then don't."      I was about to leave when he grabbed my wrist and said, "I'll come. What time?"      "Seven o'clock." I smiled and walked away.                                                                          ∴∵∴∵∴∵∴∵∴∵      I was in the kitchen preparing dinner. I cooked Italian dish which consisted beef lasagna, garlic bread with melted mozzarella for dipping, and Vin Santo.       I decided to have dinner on my balcony. The view was amazing from the balcony. There was two white chairs and a round table that used to be on the corner of the balcony. I pulled them to the center so we could get a better view. I used to drink tea in the morning or night on the balcony. It helped me clears my mind and I hoped it would help Aiden as well.       It was half an hour to seven. I took the dishes from the kitchen and placed it on the table. I decorated the table with candles and a vase of flowers on the middle of it.      Perfect. I thought to myself.      The doorbell rang just in time. I rushed downstairs and opened the door to see Aiden. He was wearing a plain white shirt and jeans. He had his hands on his pocket. His eyes traveled down from my eyes to my legs. I was wearing a floral black dress that stopped mid-thigh.      "Eyes up here, Mister." I rolled my eyes.      "Hello to you too." He smirked.      I led him inside the house and we went upstairs to my room. "I know I'm irresistable but you don't have to be such in a rush, you know." He said. I didn't bother to answer him, I rolled my eyes instead. I swore my eyes were going to pop out of its sockets if he made another nasty comments. I opened balcony and led him outside.                                                                         A   I   D   E   N      The table was decorated perfectly. The food looked so delicious, the view from up here was amazing, and the fact that a beautiful girl was here with me made it even more special. Everything was breath-taking; the dishes, the view, and her. It was perfect.      It was unbelievable how she took her time preparing these whole things for me. No one had ever done it for me. It was nice to know that someone actually cared for me. Never in a million years I would have thought this would happen to me. Her presence in my life was unexpected.      "Wow." I let out my breath that I didn't know I was holding.      "Have a seat." She said.      "Well, aren't you going to pull out the chair for me?" I teased.      "Haha, you're very funny aren't you?" She said with sarcasm before she rolled her eyes.      "Your eyes are going to turn backwards if you keep doing that." It was really fun to tease her. I took a seat in front of her.      "I hope you like Italian dishes." She changed the subject.      "My favorite." I said.      We began to eat. The food was really delicious and tasted so original. "Damn, did you made these?" She nodded.      "I didn't know you cook."      "I love doing it. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. My granny always taught me how to cook when I visited her. She even gave me some of her special recipes."      She was so gentle and caring. She looked so innocent, even with her sarcasms she still looked cute. She was not the type of person who held a grudge over others, just like how she was still being kind to Shelby and her friends. She was smart and beautiful. She was the perfect definition of perfect.      Damn it, I couldn't take my eyes off her.      "You know, I always had a thing for a girl that cooks well." I said and she blushed. "And a girl that blushes easily. It's cute." She blushed even more.      By the time we finished dinner, she stood up and leaned against the railings. I followed her and leaned beside her. The view was mesmerizing. We could see the lights from another houses. The sky was dark blue, a moon and stars were shining up bright, the leaves that were placed on the balcony was moving as if they were dancing with the wind.      "Do you like the dinner and everything?" She asked.      "Ofcourse. It was perfect." I smiled. "Why did you do all these for me?"      "You took me to a really beautiful place in New York, remember?" I nodded. "I want to do something for you in return. Besides, you looked so sad yesterday, I want to cheer you up. I hope it works." She looked so shy.      "It worked, sweetheart." She was looking down, so I lifted her chin for her to look a me. I was not able to help it anymore, I wanted to kiss her so badly. Unknowingly, my eyes traveled down to her lips, and up again to her eyes. She did the same. I leaned in and our faces were only inches away from each other when she cleared her throat. I pulled back immediately and looked up to the sky.      "I think I should get going." I decided to leave before it gets more awkward.      "Yeah." She said and led me downstairs. She opened the door and I stepped outside.      "I had a really great time. Thank you so much, Luna."      "You're welcome." She smiled and I smiled back. "Hey, do you want me to bring something for you tomorrow? I can use one of my granny's recipes."      "Ofcourse! I'm dying to try your grandma's recipe." She giggled excitedly. God, I never knew someone could be this adorable.      I waved goodbye and she did the same. On my way home, the thought of her was lingering on my head. Why did she pull back when I was about to kiss her? Was it because she didn't share the same feeling? Or was it just because it was too soon? I hope it was the latter.      Luna, I'm not sure about my feelings for you. I'm still trying to figure out what it is. And thank you, for the first time in forever, I feel so alive. I feel like I'm starting a brand new life. With you.
