Kyralynn

I got out of the car, looking around at my new home. It felt really good to stretch my legs. I would love to stretch my legs. I really want to see Rex again. ‘I know you do, but now really is not the time for that. But as soon as we can, we will go for a run.’ Fine, I will wait, but I do not like that I have to wait.

I was in awe as I looked around. This place is so much bigger than the home I grew up in. The pack-house is huge, like a mansion. Huge. It was a timber frame house with such intricate detail it must have taken them forever to build it. It had a mixture of wood with a stoneface. It reminds me of a lodge where one would go skiing. I must have been in my head and looking around for too long, as I didn't realize a man and woman had approached us.

“Blayke, welcome home son. We have missed you very much. What has kept you away for so long? And who are these beautiful ladies you have brought here?” The woman asked Blayke. “Mom, Dad, I would like you to meet Kyralynn, my mate and my Luna.” Blayke stated to the woman. “Kyralynn, I would love for you to meet my mom and dad, Zayn and Hazel. The woman, Hazel, started crying. You finally found your mate after so many years alone. I am so happy for you.” Hazel said with tears of joy still streaming down her face. “Congratulations son, Kyralynn, it is a pleasure to meet you. I am looking forward to getting to know you.” Zayn told me with a smile on his face. “Well that accounts for the one new face, but who is she?” Zayn asked, pointing to Adalayde.

“This is Mycah's mate, Adalayde. Kyralynn and Adalayde were both from the Silver Leaf pack. Kyralynn was the birthday girl who happened to be Alpha Dan’s daughter. Adalayde is also Kyralynn’s best friend. “Wow, you go to a birthday party and are gone longer than expected, and you not only come home with one new pack member but two pack members, one of whom happens to be your mate. I am so happy for you. We are lucky to have these two new editions." Zayn said with a huge teddy bear-like smile on his face.

I think I'm going to really like it here, Said Akyira. Our mate's parents seem genuinely kind. I look forward to us getting to know them. ‘Me too. I think we will adjust here just fine. I have a very good feeling about the Autumn Moon Pack.’ “Shall we get you two settled into your rooms? Asked Hazel. “Yes, we would like that very much.” replied both Adalayde and I at the same time. Come on girls, I will show you where you will be staying. “Alpha, do you want Kyralynn in her own room or will she be staying in your wing?” Hazel asked Blayke. “Mom, We really haven't discussed it. I would like to have Kyralynn in my wing, but only if she wants to,” Blayke said. Everyone turns to me. I haven't really thought about it. We have been in separate rooms since we met. I had made him wait all this time. You might as well stay with him because he is our mate. And I do not want to be far away from him. You need to mate him already. Akyira told me.

“OK, I will stay with Blayke in his wing, in his room. It's time I was the mate he needs me to be.” I told Hazel while i was smiling at Blayke. “I’m moving in with Mycah too. I do not want to be away from him any longer.” “OK, girls follow me. I will lead you to your rooms whilst the men catch up on pack business.”

“Dad, shall we go to my office?” I asked. “Yes, son come, we have a lot to discuss, it seems.” I followed Dad into the pack-house down the hall into my office. I sit in my chair at my desk with dad and Mycah across from me. “How have things been here in the pack while I was away?” I asked. “Everything went smoothly. We did scent some rogues but nothing came of it.” Dad told me. “So Blayke, you finally met your mate. How did it happen? When did it happen? Why were you away for so long?”

“When I arrived at the Silver Leaf pack I smelled the most exquisite smell of saffron and lilies mixed with citrus. My mouth started watering. But I didn't find out what the smell was until Kyralynn finally entered the event hall. She walked in and our eyes found each other, and it was like we were the only ones in the room. We were gone for so long because Kyralynn was not expecting to meet her mate on her 18th birthday. We had to get Kyralynn as well as Adalayde packed. Then we were finally on our way, and we stopped at a restaurant to eat, and there was a table of rogues staring at Kyralynn, and they were following us. We were able to lose them when I told the rest of the pack that was with us to turn and lose them before they brought them straight to our pack lands.” I told dad. “Why would rogues want Kyralynn?” Dad asked. Oh, I forgot to tell you that when Kyralynn and i touched the first time, we both got an instant tattoo. Oh, and Kyralynn is a silver blond wolf.” I added. “A silver wolf? I have never heard of that ever. Did you just say that both you and Kyralynn have a mating tattoo and you haven't mated yet? I have never seen a mating tattoo in my lifetime. I heard about it, but I thought it was just a myth, a story. Wow. We must protect Kyralynn at all costs. She must have warriors with her at all times. We cannot take any chances with our Luna." Dad said, panicky. OK, we will have a pack meeting to announce our new Luna and to officially add kyralynn and Adalayde to our pack.I told Mycah and dad.

“Blayke, I'm not trying to rush you, but it is extremely important that you and Kyralynn mate before we add them to the pack. We need to take every precaution to keep Kyralynn safe. If you don't mate her and someone, Goddess forbid, Kidnaps her, they can take your mate by forcing a mating.” I get it dad. I will talk to Kyralynn, but I will not force her to mate me when she isn't ready. It has to be her decision.I will not take that decision away from her.” I told him. We must keep her safe, Blayke, we must do whatever we have to even if that means finally making her our mate. Akyira is on board for us to mate. They are special, we must protect them no matter what. Rex told me.
