How did I get so lucky to have this beautiful woman as my mate? I can not help but look at her in awe, as I watch her eat her dinner and mingle with my pack members. She is going to be an amazing Luna, I can already tell. ‘Gamma Luka, I would like you and your mate to be luna Kyralynns protectors anywhere she goes you both go. Understand?’ ‘Yes, Alpha’ He replied. ‘I would like to see you both in my office tomorrow morning so that we can discuss with Kyralynn the security we will have in place for her.’ ‘Yes, Alpha, eight am?’ ‘Yes eight am’ I linked him back.

I tuned back into my surroundings. I see that dinner is finished. “I have an announcement” I said in my booming alpha voice. “We will be having the luna ceremony, Bbq, and a pack run the day after tomorrow.So we can officially welcome our Luna and her best friend Adalayde to our pack. Adalayde will also be officially joining our pack as our Female Beta.” I announced. “I hope you all have a great evening. You are dismissed from dinner. If you have cleanup duty, you are to stay and clean up. I will see you all at breakfast. I looked at Kyralynn then added. “Maybe I will see you all at breakfast," I said with a chuckle. Yea we may not be at breakfast because we will be with our mate. Rex tells me with a wolfy smile on his face.I took Kyralynn by the hand. As I touched her hand, my shoulder tingled. This is going to take some time to get used to. “Care to take a walk with me Kyra?” I asked. “I would love to take a walk with you.” She doesnt know this yet but I want to mate with her in our house I built for my future mate. Which means the house is for Kyralynn. It is only a mile from the packhouse so it isn't that far to get to the packhouse each day.

We walk hand in hand, enjoying the beautiful evening. I'm so glad I thought ahead to make sure the house was stocked for everything. I even had a new wardrobe of clothing brought in in Kyralynn’s size. As an alpha it is imperative for me to provide for all my mates needs.

“What is your favorite color?” Kyralynn asked me. “My favorite colors are grey and black.” I replied. “Ha, I should have known that just by looking at your room.” She told me with a laugh. She has the most beautiful laugh I have ever heard. I could listen to her laugh all day. It's like music to my ears. “What is your favorite music to listen to?” I asked. “Well I listen to a lot of different music. But if i had to choose only one genre, it would have to be artists like simple plan, Skillet, breaking benjamin and lincoln park, just to name a few.”Kyra said. I love it when she smiles. It lights up her whole face. She looks even more beautiful when she smiles.

When we reached the clearing of the house, I looked at Kyra to see her reaction. “We have arrived where I wanted to bring you. What do you think?” “It's beautiful. It's the house I always dreamed about.” she told me with that smile that lights up her entire face. “Well if you like the outside, wait until you see the inside.” I told her. I cannot help the smile that I cannot keep off my face. I never thought I would ever find my forever, my mate. I am so glad the moon goddess found me worthy enough to not just have any mate but to have a goddess blessed mate.

“Shall we see if you like the inside as well?” I asked. “Yes, please.” She told me. I let go of her hand to open the big wooden oak door. I had the door handcrafted with intricate carvings into it. Funny enough it is a wolf looking up at the moon. I pick Kyralynn up bride style. She wasn't expecting it. The shocked look on her face made me laugh. I crossed the threshold carrying her and then I put her down and shut the front door. I turned to see her face as she takes everything in. “How did you know I dreamt of this exact house? I always knew when I had met my mate, this would be my house.” She looked up at me with tears streaming down her face. Rex is screaming in my head. Fix mate fix mate, put a smile back on mates face, Now! He demanded.

“Kyra, why are you crying? Are you not happy with the house? We can change anything you want. This is our home. Yours and mine. I built it for my one day mate and have not lived in it yet. It's yours as you are my mate.” I told her. “I love it. I'm only crying because I am so happy. This is the house of my literal dreams. I'm so very happy. Thank you so much Blayke you are such an awesome mate that I never saw coming. I never imagined I'd have a mate, let alone find you on my birthday. You have been an absolute gem, a very rare gem like tanzanite. You have made me very happy. This house is absolutely perfect. Now I'm rambling.” She is just adorable as she continued talking. “Can you show me the rest of the house, since I have been just standing in this absolutely perfect living room?” Kyralynn asked. “Absolutely. Come on, I'll show you the kitchen.” I told her. I led her into the massive kitchen. The cupboards are a dark cherry wood with a light blue marble countertops. There is a countertop stove and a huge double oven in the far wall. The kitchen is also equipped with the latest appliances, gizmos and gadgets that any kitchen would need. It was fully stocked. They all happened to be light blue. I am pleased with how the kitchen turned out. I looked at Kyra for a reaction. “Well, what do you think?” I asked. “You've nailed it. I am still trying to figure out how you used my favorite color without even knowing me.” I am so happy right now. Mate is happy with us. Our mate is happy. Good job you made our mate happy. Rex told me his tail wagging happily. I take her through the rest of the house, leaving our bedroom for last. I am thrilled she loved the house.
