Chapter 6

Kyralynn

I awoke still in wolf form. I stretched and shook out my fur. I looked around. We are still in the forest. Rex just woke as well. I guess the rest of the pack must have gone to their prospective homes.

We made our way back to the packhouse. I gave Blayke a quick kiss. “I'm going to go shower and change my clothes. I'll meet you in the packhouse dining room when I'm finished, so we can eat breakfast and discuss what's next.

I made my way up to my room. I had so much fun on my first pack run. We were so free. And did you get a look at our mate? He is soo hott. Rex is hott too. We are going to make such beautiful pups. Akyira said dreamily. ‘ He is very hot,’ I told her. I'm so excited that we found our mate so quickly, but it is also sudden. I wasn't expecting to leave home so soon. I am glad Adalayde will be coming. It won't be such a drastic change with her there to adjust too,” I told Akyira.

I jump in the steaming hot shower. I think about the day before. I got my wolf, (though it seems i've had her forever, not a day), I had my party which mom out did herself. I couldn't have planned it better myself. Blayke is such a handsome alpha. What did I ever do to deserve a mate like him? Before I knew it, the water ran cold. I shut off the water. I grabbed my favorite light blue towel, dried myself off. Grabbed another towel to put my hair up into. I put my light blue fluffy robe on. I walked into my room and up to my closet. ‘Akyira, What should I wear?’ I asked. I am definitely not qualified to be picking out your clothes. Akyira told me. I chose a light blue flannel shirt, a pair of high rise skinny jeans and my favorite boots. I braid my silver blond hair into two french braids down my back. “I think I'm ready to go to breakfast now. I exited my bedroom and made my way down to the dining room of the pack house. My stomach is growling. I'm so hungry I could eat a mountain lion.

I can smell bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes, French toast and the many other breakfasty smells. My stomach growls really loudly. Hahahaha, Akyira laughs. You do sound like you could eat a mountain lion, or a very large moose. I laughed at her comment.

I made it to the dining room and, as usual, it seemed I was again the last to arrive. Mom, Dad, Adalayde, Blayke and Mycah as well as the rest of theirs and our pack have already filed in and started eating. I sat next to Blayke and Adalayde, who were both engrossed in conversation. As I sat down, Blayke looked up at me with that sexy smile of his. He was talking to dad. As I began to put food on my plate, dad asked me "so Kyralynn, when will you be leaving to head to the Autumn Moon pack?" "I'm not really sure, as Blayke and I have not even talked about it yet. Blayke, when were you planning to head home?" I asked "Well, I know meeting your mate was pretty sudden, and you weren't prepared. I will send word ahead to have them get things ready for your arrival. Is three more days long enough for you to get your things together? Adalayde, is that enough time for you to also be ready?” Blayke asked us. “Yes, I can be ready in three days' time,”I replied. “Of course I can be ready in three days.” Adalayde said happily, looking at Mycah with doe eyes. "I can't wait to be with my mate forever. It makes me wonder how I have been without him this long.” She added. “Well, that sounds like a plan. Alpha Blayke, is there anything else you require while you are here?" Dad asked him.

The food is superb this morning. I'm really going to miss it here. This has always been my home. I wonder what my new pack will be like. I think most of all I am going to miss Mom and Dad. I have never really been away from them. I admit I'm feeling very anxious. I don't handle change very well.

"Ky, Did you hear me?" Adalayde asked. " You were talking to me?" I asked her. Uh, yea, for like five minutes. You were really thinking about something, are you OK? "Yes, I'm fine. I was just thinking about what things will be like when we go to our new pack and how many things I'll miss here. But I'm OK. What were you asking me?" "I was asking if you wanted to take one final trip to the mall, to shop and maybe catch the new movie 2 fast 2 furious?" "Yes, I would like that. Will it be just us?" I asked her. "I was hoping Mycah and Alpha Blayke would want to come along. Gentleman, do you want to go to the mall with us shopping and catch a movie and maybe dinner later?" Adalayde asked. "Of course, I would love to spend time with my beautiful lady and her bestie." Mycah stated. "I'm in" Blayke said. "Where you go I will go. Besides, I love shopping. Especially for others. OK, I'll go, but tomorrow we have to pack."I told her.

We finish breakfast. "I'm going to run upstairs and grab my things. I'll be ready to go as soon as I come down. You can wait in the living room. I won't be very long." I told them. I ran up to my room to get my wallet, purse, and phone. I'm really excited about spending some time with Blayke getting to know him. I am excited to get to know both Rex and Blayke too. We have such a sexy mate. What do you think mating them will be like? Akyira asked me 'I'm not sure, I have never been with anyone. If I'm honest, I'm a bit nervous about all of this. I know how you are feeling. You forget we are one. You are me and I am you.

I went downstairs to meet Blayke, Adalayde, and Mycah in the living room. "Are you ready to go," I asked them. "Yes, are we taking your car or mine?" asked Blayke. "You can drive. I call shotgun though." I replied. "Of course, where else would you sit?"Blayke asked. "On my lap." Laughed Mycah. Blayke and Adalayde both growled at Mycah. Mycah raised his hands in the air in surrender. "I'm just kidding. If anyone sits on my lap it will be Adalayde, my mate," Mycah stated. "Damn straight, you are mine only. The bitches better stay the hell away." Adalayde stated.

We got into Blaykes' car. We headed to the mall. I'm really going to miss this. I wonder what my new pack will be like. Blayke pulls into the mall parking lot. We all got out of the car and entered the mall. "Where do you want to go first?"Blayke asked. "Well, I want to get some new hoodies and some new jeans and shirts and maybe a new pair of shoes so clothing stores first." I said excitedly. “I want to go to the book store as well. What about you adalayde?” I asked. “I’m good with going to the same stores as you,” Adalayde said.

We walked around the mall going in and out of different stores, adding more bags to Blayke and Mycah’s hands.

“Well, I think that is the last of it. Food first or movie first?” Blayke asked “Food first,” I replied.

We found ourselves at the food court. We all opted for pizza. I had just finished my last bite when Angelique and her minions came waltzing up with googly eyes. Staring at my mate. “You are so handsome. What are you doing here with them? They’re nothing but dirt beneath our feet.” She rubs her hand up and down Blaykes’ arm. I let out a low growl. “Get your filthy hands off of my mate.” I yelled, getting angrier by the second. “Your mate?” replied Angelique. Angelyque got really close to my face and said,“Tell me why the moon goddess would ever give you a mate. You are nothing.” Angelyque said “I don't know what you think you are doing, but I suggest you remove your hand from me and never touch anyone ever again. You will never speak to my mate like that ever again either," growled Blayke. “Kyralynn is my mate and I could never ever like anyone as nasty as you.” Blayke told her. Angelique’s face was as red as a ripened tomato. Our whole table burst out laughing as Angelique retreated with her minions. “You have not seen the last of me.” Angelyque screamed.

“Well, shall we go to see that movie now?” I asked. Yes, that sounds wonderful.
