Chapterone
Jasmine Wilzona had just returned from Arabia after spending two long months working undercover as a hotel attendant. That was her last mission, and it hadn’t been easy. This time, the stakes were higher than ever.
She had been tasked with obtaining a highly confidential business plan that powerful people were willing to pay a fortune for. Securing it would change everything for her and her partners.
But there was a twist: this mission involved an African woman. The information she had been given only mentioned that her target was a wealthy figure in Arabia, no name, no gender.
Working with such little intel was dangerous, but Jasmine had no choice. Her job didn’t allow for excuses. It was also her very first time dealing with an African target, which made her even more cautious.
She wasn’t poor by any means, but she was hungry for more. For Jasmine, growing her wealth was just as important as survival.
As she prepared for what was next, a mysterious smile curved on her lips.
“I need to get ready,” she whispered to herself. “Something big is coming a whole new kind of mission.”
2025 Business Award Night:
Flashes from cameras lit up the red carpet as the most powerful and glamorous figures in the business world arrived. Reporters scrambled to get interviews while fans screamed from behind the barricades.
Suddenly, a loud cheer erupted as a sleek black Tesla Model X pulled up. The driver jumped out, hurried to the passenger side, and opened the door.
Jayden Halle stepped out, looking effortlessly dashing in a perfectly tailored suit that emphasized his broad shoulders. His dark hair was neatly styled, and his sharp, confident gaze made the crowd go wild.
“OMG! Jayden, my love is here!” one fan screamed.
“My popular husband! Just marry me, please!” another shouted desperately.
Before the second fan could say anything more, Stacy, a glamorous supermodel, splashed coffee all over her dress.
With a deadly glare, Stacy hissed, “Back off.”
The humiliated fan burst into tears and fled the venue.
Stacy walked toward Jayden like she was on a runway. With a bright, practiced smile, she handed him a massive bouquet of red roses. Jayden accepted it politely and immediately passed it to Mike, his loyal secretary.
This is exactly what I expected, the screams, cheers, and flashing lights, Jayden thought. But Stacy being here is a problem. This isn’t a fashion show. She’s stealing even more attention than I already have.
“Congratulations, Jayden, on the success of your new video game!” Stacy said sweetly. “I heard it broke the Guinness World Record for the most-played game in just 24 hours.”
“Thanks,” Jayden replied shortly, keeping his tone cool.
An interviewer rushed forward.
“Mr. Popular! What would you like to say to your fans about breaking another world record?”
Jayden smiled. “A huge thank you to my fans, they are the ones who made it happen.”
“Anything else you would like to add?” the interviewer asked.
Jayden glanced at her and smirked. “Yes, actually. You look great tonight.”
Blushing, the interviewer giggled. “Thank you so much, Mr. Popular! I hope you enjoy the show!”
As Jayden moved toward the venue, he came face-to-face with Elvis, his fiercest competitor.
“Oh, so you decided to show up,” Elvis sneered. “Too bad you’ll be leaving empty-handed.”
“Out of the way, you stink,” Stacy snapped before Jayden could respond. She linked her arm with Jayden’s, and they walked past Elvis without another glance.
The Ceremony:
“Ladies and gentlemen,” the host announced, “welcome to the 2025 Business Award Night! Tonight, we celebrate the brightest business minds in America!”
The audience erupted in applause.
The guest artist was introduced: “Please give it up for Nicki Minaj!”
The hall filled with cheers as Nicki delivered a high-energy performance.
Award after award was handed out, with Jayden winning in his category.
Finally, the atmosphere grew tense as the second host took the stage.
“And now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for, the most prestigious award of the night. The Global Recognition Award goes to none other than Jayden Halle; Mr. Popular!”
The room exploded with screams and applause. Jayden rose from his seat, walking proudly toward the stage. His eyes locked briefly with Elvis, who stood abruptly and stormed out of the hall in anger.
“Jayden Halle is officially the youngest businessman to win the Global Recognition Award three years in a row!” the host declared.
Jayden took the microphone.
“Thank you, everyone! This means so...”
Beep! Beep!
His phone vibrated in his pocket. Frowning, he checked the message. It was from an unknown number:
“I see you’re enjoying your night.
But have you forgotten how your betrothed was kidn*pped?”
Jayden’s blood ran cold.
He scanned the crowd and spotted a man in black calmly exiting the hall. Without hesitation, Jayden dropped the award and sprinted after him.
Mike, his secretary, scrambled to grab the trophy and apologized to the audience before rushing to follow Jayden.
"High Galaxy Penthouse"
When Jayden arrived home, he headed straight for the bathroom.
As cold water poured over his tense muscles, the threatening message echoed in his mind.
“I see you’re happy now…
But it seems you’ve forgotten how your betrothed was kidnapped.”
His fists clenched as he shut his eyes tightly. Whoever sent that message had just ignited a war.
"Morning in Italy."
The private jet glided through the clouds like it owned the sky. Jasmine Wilzona sat near the window, legs crossed, her red stilettos gleaming under the cabin lights. Her reflection stared back at her in the glass flawless makeup, sleek black bob, a faint smirk at the corner of her lips. The perfect mask.
She adjusted the diamond bracelet on her wrist, a device that doubled as a listening bug. Another gadget. Another role. Another mission.
Another lie.
"Miss P, you are five minutes from landing," a voice crackled in her earpiece. Agent Red. Cold. Efficient. Always watching.
"Jayden Halle is expecting his bride at the estate by noon. Don’t blow your cover. He is not just rich he’s clever.”
Jasmine rolled her eyes. “Relax. I’ve charmed kings, conned generals, and escaped death in stilettos. One billionaire in a tux? Child’s play.”
But even as she said it, a flicker of unease passed through her. Jayden Halle wasn’t just a name. He was the name billionaire tech tycoon, beloved by the media, untouchable by law. And dangerously handsome, if the file photos were to be believed.
This time, she wouldn’t just seduce or spy. She would have to live with him. Share a bed. Play the doting wife in public... and dig into his secrets in private.
The plane landed with a soft thud. Jasmine stood, smoothing her sleek designer dress as a black Bentley pulled up to the tarmac.
Her heart beat faster. Nerves? No. Spies didn’t get nervous.
She got ready.
High Galaxy penthouse — 12:03 PM
The penthouse looked like it was ripped from a European postcard, stone arches, marble fountains, and security cameras tucked in every crevice. Jasmine stepped out of the car, greeted by the smell of roses, wealth, and something colder which is his aura.
He stood at the top of the staircase, hands in his pockets, the sunlight behind him like a halo of fire.
Jayden Halle.
Tall, sharp suit, sharper jawline. Those icy eyes scanned her like a machine, calculating, memorizing. Dangerous.
You are late,” he said smoothly, voice low and calm. “I don’t like waiting, wifey.
Wife.
She smiled sweetly. “Traffic was brutal. You know how it is... husband.”
He raised an eyebrow, lips twitching. Charming!.Let’s see how long that lasts she said.
She ascended the steps, meeting him eye to eye. For a moment, neither spoke. The world fell quiet.
And Jasmine knew.
This wasn’t going to be child’s play.
This was war.
