The dim clubhouse that had different colors of light rolling around and a crowd of sweaty people jumping on the dance floor, throwing their hands in the air as they did so and swaying their hips to the rhythm of the music.
She peered quietly into the screen of her phone as it vibrated endlessly from the series of messages that were coming in.
Seeing that the text messages were from her lawyer, she picked the phone up from the table and slipped it into her purse that was also on the table.
As she tried shutting her eyes for a moment so she can get lost in her own world for moment, desperately wanting to escape from her surrounding and the harsh reality of life, all Natalie could see in the darkness of closed eyes were the sour and irritating image of the compromising position she saw her husband in with Aria.
She could still clearly hear the way Aria moaned to the pleasure she was getting from riding him as if she was still in the room with them. Natalie quickly pushed her eyes apart again, breathing heavily as her heart raced from how bad the image was haunting her.
“Those bastards don't deserve to see the break of the day,” She cursed under her breath as she picked up another shot and poured it freely into her mouth, quickly through the whole slice of kind as she returned the glass back to the table.
“Why is life so unfair to me?” She asked herself as she reached out to take another shot from the tray in front of her, the tears that had built up in her eyes overtime- as she struggled to get the image of her husband having s*x with Aria out of her mind- now running freely down her cheeks.
When she noticed all the shots were empty, she raised her hand to signal the bartender, who was busy mixing drinks, “Can I have another round?” Everly asked, wiping the tears off her face.
“Don't you think you need to cut it and get back home?” The bartender said as he put everything down and walked closer to her, “You look wasted,” he whispered.
“Oh! Sorry daddy, I don't mean to stay out this late, having a thousand and one shot of tequila,” She started mimicking a spoiled Child's voice as she stared straight into the bartender's eyes.
Within a blink of an eye, she switched from being a spoiled child to a drunken messy woman, she picked up one of the shot glasses and threw it to the wall, missing the bartender by an inch.
“I am sick and tired of y’all telling me what to do,” Natalie yelled, she grabbed her purse and staggered out of the scene, leaving the people around the base to wonder what was going on.
The next place she found herself was in the lobby of a hotel that was a block away from the club. The dizzy Natalie, whose vision was now a bit blurry, booked a room for herself and staggered away before the receptionist could even ask if she needed any help locating her room number.
“2001, 2002, 2003,” Natalie dramatically counted as she walked in the quiet hallway in the second floor of the hotel.
“Isn't it 2002 that was given to me?” She asked, staring at the card the receptionist gave to her, that had 2003 boldly written in blue prints.
“It is 2002, dumb me,” She giggled softly as she hit her head. Turning to the 2002 room, “Why did they leave my door open?” she grumbled as she pushed her way into the room.
“Everybody is getting on my nerves today,” She muttered breathlessly as she closed the room door behind her.
“Hey…Hey young lady,” A tall, fair skinned man with a nice body built, broad chest, masculine shoulders and arm with a well defined abdomen that had abs bulging out like he just came back from a gym session ran stammered in shock as he ran out of the bathroom with a towel tied firmly around his waist when he heard the room door shut.
“There is a misunderstanding here, I think you just got into the wrong room.”
With the alcohol she filled her system with clouding her sense of reasoning, making her not to see any oddness with a man being inside her hotel room, “What do you mean by misunderstanding? I paid for this room” Natalie replied.
“No, I also paid for this room,” The man said.
Pushing her hair that had covered part of her face as she staggered away from her face, “Oh my!” She goshed over his body that just met her eyes.
“What is a hot man like you doing in my room?” Natalie went on to ask, her voice tinged with excitement and admiration.
“Okay young lady, I think you really need to go back to the receptionist and get a confirmation,” the man replied, moving closer to her so he could lead her out of the room as he noticed something wasn't right with her.
“No gentleman, you are the one that needs to go for a confirmation or whatever,” She giggled.
Perceiving the strong smell of alcohol her mouth reeked off as she continued laughing when he got close to her, “Now I see where the problem is coming from,” He stated.
“You are so huge!” Natalie giggled again placing her hand on his bare chest, “I think I like you, I would love to have you for the night” She said with a note of finality as she quickly sneaked her hands around his waist, holding him tight.
“What are you doing young lady, get off me,” The man said as he struggled to pull himself free from her grip.
“Why? Don't you find me attractive enough for you?” Natalie asked, holding him tighter.
“No, and that is because I am engaged, I have a fianceé.”
Natalie scoffed, “Forget about that, she is probably cheating on you with someone else, my husband cheated on me with my best friend” She giggled again, “everyone is a cheat, so just enjoy the moment while you have it.”
Natalie pushed him hard on the king sized bed in the room and she began undressing herself. “Don't you like what you see?” She said in a calm sexy voice when she was done undressing herself, leaving just her bra and pants as she cat walked towards him, a silly smile on her face.
