A NEW LIFE.
Here's a sample chapter one for your novel "Zara":
Zara stepped out of the airport terminal and took a deep breath. The warm, humid air of Houston hit her face, and she felt a sense of excitement and nervousness wash over her. She had moved to Houston to complete her schooling after her parents got divorced. It was a big change for her, but she was ready to embrace it.
She looked around and saw the towering skyscrapers and busy streets of the city. It was a far cry from the small town she had grown up in, but she was eager to explore and discover all that Houston had to offer.
As she walked towards the taxi stand, she couldn't help but feel a little self-conscious. She was a 23-year-old woman, with long, curly brown hair that cascaded down her shoulders, and deep brown eyes that sparkled in the sunlight. She was tall and slender, with long legs and a graceful stride. She wore a simple white t-shirt, black jeans, and a pair of sneakers, but she felt like everyone was staring at her.
She shook off the feeling and got into the taxi. As the driver navigated through the busy streets, Zara looked out the window and watched the city go by. She saw people of all ages, races, and backgrounds, going about their daily lives. She felt a sense of awe and wonder at the diversity of the city, and she knew that she was going to love living here.
After a few minutes, the taxi pulled up to her new apartment complex. She paid the driver and stepped out of the car. She looked up at the tall building and felt a sense of pride. This was her new home, and she was determined to make the most of it.
As she walked into the lobby, she saw a group of people sitting on a couch, chatting and laughing. She hesitated for a moment, feeling a little shy, but then she took a deep breath and walked over to them.
"Hi, I'm Zara," she said, smiling.
The group turned to look at her, and one of them, a tall, lanky guy with messy blonde hair and bright blue eyes, stood up.
"Hey, I'm Jake," he said, grinning. "Welcome to the building. Want to join us?"
Zara felt a sense of relief and gratitude. She had made her first friend in Houston.
"Sure," she said, smiling back at him.
