I never loved you, fool.

BRODY'S POV

"Brody" I heard my name whilst I entered the house and headed upstairs.

"Umm hmm" I hummed and rolled my eyes. I had a bad hangover due to the whole quaff time I had with the unknown lady. My head really ached and my eyes were almost coming out.

"Where are you coming from? I have been trying to call you all night, but you didn't pick up" Aurora inquired whilst standing at the end of the staircase, and descended as she spoke with her hands folded.

"I was busy" I blotted out coldly. I couldn't even stare into her lying face. Anytime my eyes locked with hers, the only thing that came to mind was the s****l fulfilment she had with Antonio. The disgusting image couldn't leave my head.

"You were busy? I don't get Brody. You were busy to the extent that you couldn't even pick my calls?And when the hell did you start sleeping out?" She bawled. I squeezed my fist and gnashed my teeth. Hearing her deceitful voice echo in my ears was so irritating.

"Since when you….." I snapped but then stopped halfway, contorting my face. I didn't want to spill that I knew about her illicit affair with Antonio. I needed to plot and get a way to pay them back for their grisly betrayal.

" No, go on Brody, tell me what this whole crap is all about" she snarled. I stared into her eyes with my eyes narrowed. She seemed so Innocent and you'd think she was a saint.

"It's nothing, forget it"I muttered and sighed. I commenced walking and wanted to go to my room to avoid the whole saga that was going to occur if I stayed longer. I still had a hangover, and that would trigger things I didn't really wasn't ready to talk about.

"No, let's talk about it baby, what's wrong? '' She said, and held my right wrist when I tried to walk past her. My head was bowed.

"I said it's nothing."I spoke and tried bolting away but she still had a strong grip on my hand.

"We both know something is wrong, baby. Prior to yesterday, you have never slept out since our marriage. With this weird occurrence and you still want to make me accept that nothing is wrong and all is right as rain? Obviously I'm not that dumb. I can see through you that something is wrong(grabs my face and raises my head) please talk to me baby, I can't handle this." She pleaded. Seeing her innocent face, I was broken. Looking so Innocent and pure as a dove,

not knowing that she is a beast.

"I told you nothing is wrong Aurora, let me be" I managed to utter after staring at her. She had tears in her eyes like some innocent dove. She was wearing a black gown and her hair was also dark. It just seemed as though her outfit rather matched her heart.

"You are lying Brody, I just know it in my gut. Just tell me what is wrong please. I remember when you'd share all your problems with me both personal and business wise and we'd sort it out. What has changed now baby? Why can't you share the obvious thing on your chest with me?"she snapped and placed her hand on her waist after she closed her eyes for a couple of seconds after a tear rolled down her face.

I was struck with awe and surprise seeing that Aurora cried. This disgusted me the more the kind of pretense she could put up.

"Can you just stop this whole guise Aurora? You really want to know the reason why I am behaving weird and cold?" I roared and shook my head.

" Yes baby, please tell me what is wrong" she said and held my face, staring at it so lovingly. I pushed it away angrily before I continued.

" My problem is you Aurora, I am disgusted just seeing your face. I have always loved you so much with my whole life and I did think that you did same me, but obviously I was stupid and foolish to have taught that." I snarled.

" What are you talking about, baby? You of all people know that I love you so much" she spoke and placed her hand on my arm.

" Just shut your f*****g lying mouth up!!!" I roared and dabbed her hand off my arm. She seemed scared and terrified. I pushed her to the staircase bar till she could go no further.

"I know of you s****l relationship with Antonio. I saw you both having s*x on our matrimonial bed two days back" I spat, dropping little by little. Her eyes widened in shock even though she tried concealing it, I still saw it.

"Okay, so what about it?" She inquired and walked away downstairs. I was dumbfounded and surprised. She seemed as though what I said was something trivial.

"What? You lying daughter of a b***h. I have always loved you Aurora, I lived for you and worked for you and this is how you repay me?" I bawled still standing on the stairs.

"Can you f*****g cut the whole s**t? You love me blah blah blah yeah that's bullshit. I have never loved you, Brody and I will never do. You were never the option but Antonio was. We have been in love with each other even before I got Married to you . You were just a pun in our whole game" she said and poured herself a whisky.

I couldn't bring myself to believe what she was saying. My jaw dropped and my eyes narrowed in surprise.

" What do you mean?" I asked.

" I mean you were just a fool and to be precise, a big one" she cussed and walked back to me.

"Did you really think I'd really love someone like you?(she clicks her tongue) You are boring and do everything I'd say. You're just two goody shoes and never an option for me. I only married you for the benefits that came with it.

" My heart has always yearned for Antonio and we love each other to the moon" she asserted.

"I know the question in your mind is why then did I marry you when Antonio was the one I loved. I only married you because that was our plan. We planned that I'd marry you and then we will take over your property. You are nothing close to attractive to me, but at least the only thing close to attractive about you, was your account balance. Come on man, you are one of the richest business men here in L.A if not the richest. My eyes were only on your riches and not you."she confessed smiling and slurped her drink.

It all seemed as though my whole world came crumbling down on me. The whole place was turning and revolving in my eyes. She had no remorse on her face, and finding out that this was all a plot from the ab initio made my heart stop beating for a second.

"So you and Antonio have been lying to me all this while? You were the two people I trusted with my whole life and little did I know that you were only playing me. Why Aurora, why?" I wailed and shuddered backwards, losing my balance. I held back the tears that gathered in my eyes and it flooded out on my left eye alone.

" Money darling, money" she whispered in my ears and chuckled. Her whole confession resounded in my ears and all the moments we spent together flashed back. Her genuine smile was all a lie? Her profound love for me is also a lie? How was I going to handle this?

"I am filing for a divorce. Then I'd see how you take my money and my property" I bawled but then she shocked me with her reaction.

She laughed out loud and clicked her tongue which got me confused.

" That is what I actually want as it's gonna make the work easier and hasten the transfer of property into my name."she said, laughing and winked at me. My brows narrowed because I had no idea what she was talking about and how a divorce would make my money hers.

"What do you mean?" I questioned……..
