I was overwhelmed with emotions when I went to the hospital with SCARLETT to pay her mother's surgery bills. She was so keen to see her mother well back and it gave me this fulfilment that at least I helped out in the process.
After the whole conversation with the doctor, she urged that we go and get married so she'd pay me back for the favour as agreed. I felt awkward, and I would have also felt inhumane if I allowed her follow me to the court on that basis. I wasn't that callous to have allowed her to get married to me just for the sake to fulfill her own end of the bargain. Helping her mother out was nothing to me, rather it gave a soothing satisfaction to my soul.
