Chapter 5

Ricardo’s POV

I feel like a damn teenager. I’ve never been so nervous nor impatient to met a woman .

“ What are you talking about ? You i***t! That’s our mate , the woman the moon Goddess blessed us with. She’s not ‘a woman’.” I hear my wolf growling angry . Ariel can be so serious sometimes. “Slow down Ariel , first of all , stop f*cking listen to my thoughts, is something to do with privacy , but you have no idea about that , because you nose is literally stuck on my backside, and secondly, I am freaking nervous , have you ever seen anything more beautiful before?” That woman was like the perfect definition of an angel and I was the luckiest man in the world by having her as my mate: a strong , beautiful woman to be my Luna , except she won’t be my Luna as long as she’s an Alpha . I felt my wolf shivering at my thoughts. “Don’t say that , we have to do something to have our mate with us.” He said and I nodded my head in approval “But what?”

I asked more myself than my wolf.

“I don’t know yet, but we’ll think about something, now get us to the reception to met our mate.” He said and I could feel him getting excited again.

I checked myself one last time on the mirror. I was wearing a white shirt, with my sleeves rolled up to my elbows, a pair of black jeans and black combat boots. My hair was styled in a messy way , but was looking quite good , I look handsome, “I hope this will make her think twice before trying to start a long distance relationship between us.” I said laughing at my own silliness. I put on my silver wrist watch and got out of my room. Was six fifty pm , but I don’t mind waiting a few minutes on the reception, as long as I know my mate deserves it. As soon as I got on the reception , I head to the stools on the side of the full wall size window . Is August, so soon will get dark and the sky looks amazing from my spot. Maybe you wonder how can get dark so early in August , but let me tell you she summer days are the shorter in the year, weird isn’t it? Enough of stories , where is my mate? I look again at the time and realised that it was six fifty five, so she still has five minutes to get here . I sighed and start looking past the crowd : there she is! God this woman really is an angel , even wearing black.

I started walking her way and after a couple seconds we were one feet away from each other. I decided to break the silence “H..hi ! You look beautiful.” I said struggling to get my words out of my mouth.

“Thank you , you don’t look bad yourself.” She said in a soft voice , that voice was music for my ears. “Thank you . I must be the luckiest guy in the world for having such a beating mate.” I said and I could see her free of makeup cheeks blushing. This woman is so sweet.

“So , do you have any place in mind?” Me.

“Not really, but I heard that the hotel’s restaurant , apart of having the best chefs in Buenos Aires, also has one of the most beautiful terrace.” Her.

“Then , to the terrace we go ,my angel!” I said , and she blushed again.

I put my hand on the small of her back in guided her trough the crowded hallway that was taking us to the open terrace of the restaurant. The men at the entrance smiled at us and asked us to follow him to our table. When we got to the terrace I was stunned “You were right . This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve been.” I said , looking around the place. “I love it too , and the fact that is open ,makes me feel free.” She said opening her arms like embracing the freedom around her. I pulled out the chair for her and she sat down.

“What would you like to drink?” The waiter asked.

“Red wine?” I asked looking at her.

“Yes, red wine would be perfect.” She said , now sounding more confident.

The waiter took our drinks and food order and left.

I decided to break the silence again “So , where are you coming from?” Me.

“Córdoba, I am the Alpha of the Walk Side Pack.” She said. Walk Side Pack?? That pack is the strongest pack of all Latino America , if not of the world for the last three years.

“WS Pack? Wow , that’s impressive , your pack is one of the most powerful in the world. From how long you are the Alpha of the pack?” Me.

“Thank you , we are working and training hard to protect our pack , not for the power over other packs , but for our own safety. I am the Alpha for three years already.” She said with a smile and I could feel that all her body was screaming confidence and power.

“That’s impressive .” I said ,my emotions were over the place, I wanted to know everything about her , but the thought of her leaving tomorrow , boy ,I am not an emotional man at all ,but I feel like damn weak . “I know we know each other for about three hours , but I can’t help to ask , what about us? You are my mate , my other half , how we’ll work this out?” I said sighing in defeat.

“Is easy ...” she said and I was shocked by her answer , but didn’t want to interrupt so I let her continue.

“We can always get our packs together.” She said excited. “I never asked where are you from?”

“ La Rioja , I am alpha of the Eclipse Moon Pack.”

“Wow , that is a strong Pack , but as I said , I know is the first time we met , but for some reason I think we both already wait enough to find each other , so what to you say ? Would you like us to join your pack in Rioja, or you can always join my pack in Córdoba.” She said excited like a little toddler in a toys store.
