Chapter 4

Carolina’s POV

That man was my mate ? He is exactly like the man in my dream. My goodness, he’s even more handsome in person. My wolf break the silence and told me something I never thought about when I decided to become the Alpha of my pack. ‘How will we be together with our mate when he’s an Alpha as well?’ She said and I could feel tears forming in my eyes.

I lifted my eyes to see him looking at me like he was trying to read my mind.

“My name is Ricardo.” He said.

“I am Carolina.”

I quickly checked the time and was about fifteen minutes before the office will close. “Would you mind waiting for me for a minute ? I need sort some matters of my pack.” I said quickly not wanting him to leave.

“Sure , I’ll be right here.” He said and gave me the most bright ,heart taking smile and felt relieved that he agreed to wait for me.

I went inside , not before giving him my genuine smile. The three men , were busy with some papers when I knocked slowly on the open door “Good afternoon! I come to declare the death of one of the youngest member of my pack.” After few minutes and couple routine questions , I was done , thanked the three men and head out the office.

‘He is still here , he did wait for me’ I said to myself. Why do I feel so impatient to be close to him? Is this the mate bond making me feel so attached to this man I just met less than thirty minutes ago?

“Do you want to have dinner with me this evening? Seven pm is good for you ?” He asked me. “ I would love to , the time is perfect as well. I will be leaving tomorrow so it might be a while until we met again.” I said and I could see the hope in his eyes narrowing.

“Why do you have to leave so fast?” He asked with obvious curiosity.

“Let’s talk about this while having dinner.” I said , not wanting to ruin the moment even more.

“Ok, what hotel are you staying at?”

“ At The Four Seasons .”I said. Yeah I know, we haven’t even checked in yet , but I will when I’ll leave this place.

“ I am staying there as well , isn’t that an amazing coincidence?” He said surprised and with a huge smile.

“It is , isn’t it?” I said smiling shyly.

“Well, I guess I’ll see you in a little while.” He smiled and we walked out the building in a comfortable silence. I waved at him a quick “bye” and got to my car . The guys were looking at me like I grown two heads.

“Whaaat ?? Why are you two looking at me like that? Do I have something on my face?” I asked a bit annoyed.

“Alpha , your cheeks are bright red , are you ok? “ Andres asked concerned.

“And who was the man you got out the building with?” Julian asked.

“ Ughhh , you guys are so annoying. I am totally fine. That man was ....” I stopped, I didn’t know if was a good idea to tell them I met my mate. My thoughts were broken by Julian’s curiosity “Sooo.... ?” I didn’t know what to say “Was just a guy that was in front of me at the office, he lost his younger sister , so we were talking about pack matters.” I said trying to look as convincing as possible. It is not a good idea to tell them about my mate just yet, at least not until I talk to him first. “ Tonight we’ll have dinner , so don’t worry to much about me.” I said and they looked at me like they were my two older brothers. “Save it guys. I’ll be fine , he’s an Alpha and anyway I could get him murdered in less than a minute if he tries something.” I lied , he could try anything , he’s my mate after all . ‘Hell girl! Relax a little, you sound like a hoe .’ I mind face slapped myself. “Ok , but any problem , just send a mind link to us and we’ll be there to break some bones.” Andres said throwing his fists punching the air in front of him. What a big child. “Ok , just go and rest.”

After get at the Four Seasons hotel , the most luxurious, expensive hotel in Buenos Aires, we checked in and went up to our rooms.

My room looked like a dream , was huge , with bright white walls , light grey laminate floor, white and golden king size bed with two matching table sides, chest of drawers and wardrobe. In the middle of it was a roman style white sofa with golden cushions on each side, in front of it a white cozy rug and a little coffee table on top of which was resting a vase with white and red roses.

After admiring my room I got out of my day dream and head to the bathroom. I took a long bath , scrubbing my body, shaving every hair I could see , except the ones stuck on my face and head . I would hate to look like Jim Carey on “The Mask” on my first “date”.

I got out of the bathroom and proceeded to dry my body and applying my vanilla scented cream. Thanks God I was thinking I’ll stay longer so I brought some more clothes and toiletries from home.

I took out my luggage some black thong and matching bra , put them on. I looked hot , but I couldn’t met my mate in underwear, so I continued searching for the rest of the clothes.

I found my black pencil dress and put it on. Thanks God no one could see my black bra underneath the dress. I wore the same red stilettos ,put my hair in a high ponytail and applied a small amount of makeup on my face. Was already six forty five, God , the time flies and so am I . I quickly grabbed the same red purse, put on my elegant tiny wrist watch , spayed few puffs of my fave perfume and left the room.

By the time I got to the hotel’s reception , I looked at the time and I was on time , was six fifty five. I looked around over the crowded area , maybe he’s early as well , guess what ? He’s here.
