Mrs Johnson and Aviva arrived in Atlanta. Forthwith they alighted the plane Mrs Johnson felt Aviva's body condition, Aviva seemed not to be herself, her predicament exacerbated forthwith she saw Harvey and Jack at the inn. Mrs Johnson had to obtain a chair to rest and get a taxi, the car she drove to the airport when she wanted to flight for Michigan had been returned home by her niece whom she phoned. She began to think of which hospital he would take Aviva to. She could effortlessly get a taxi at the other side, but the populace was so bumpy that she felt unease to penetrate their mix. "Hello, please come and help me". Mrs Johnson ran out of thought, she summoned one of the pedestrians to help her with Aviva to where they could take a taxi. The young man initially felt reluctant but seemed she was pushed to do it and he scampered towards Mrs Johnson. Forthwith Mrs Johnson entered the taxi she got carried away by the thought of not being able to go to work for the past two days. She never envisaged anything that could compel her to miss work since the death of her husband, unfortunately, she never knew this might present itself. She had been a muscular woman since the death of her husband, assuming both responsibilities incorporating that of her children also, because all her children were in their respective institutions. The thought of her first and only daughter who is coming home this week to prepare for her convocation put a dew of ice water on her shredded heart. She felt a bit of relief forthwith that though crowned her psyche. Lloyd is one of her gist partner whom she had missed since she left for school. Thoughts had been running through her psyche that she didn't know she had reached her destination until she was patted by the taxi driver. "Oh", she shocked. She paid her fare and stride into her compound. Her premeditated thought was to take Aviva to the hospital forthwith she left the airport, but she chose to come home foremost so she could switch her dress. She brought out her phone and saw ten missed call, she was disappointed, she blamed herself for putting the phone on vibration, she could have at least felt the vibration but she had been carried away by thoughts. The call was from an unknown number. She decided to phone the number. "Hello, Good evening", she said. "Evening, we are calling from Michigan University, we noticed Aviva has been absent from school for the past two days, hope there is no problem?" "Huh, Aviva? She is fine, something urgent came up that's why she has been absent, thank you very much", Mrs Johnson cut the call and was left worried. She dropped her phone and off her dress and remained in lingerie. She also helped Aviva with hers and they entered the bathroom together. When she was bathing it seemed she heard a knock on the door, but she was doubting if it was a knock or the movement of an object. The thoughts faded her psyche when she couldn't hear it again after she put off the shower. They were done making up themselves and they headed for Thomas Care hospital. This time Mrs Johnson's was recoursed to be using her car. It was the same car she took to the airport when she was going to Michigan to check on Aviva forthwith after the incident, it was returned home for her by one of her niece, Tema. She called her forthwith she was done dressing before she took off for the hospital. She was initially angered by the behaviour depicted by Aviva at the inn which made her kept mute. But she began to feel pity for her. She couldn't understand what she was going through and she had been waiting curiously for her to regain her health wholly so she could explain the reason she said she shouldn't disclose the incident to anyone. Mrs Johnson felt those perpetrators should have been brought to book by now. In 20 minutes they arrived at the hospital. She phoned the Chief Executive Officer of the hospital who was her high school mate, Marley Thomas. Marley Thomas was an African American whom she initially fell in love with before she met Glenn Johnson, who happened to be her late husband. Their relationship didn't work out in their high school, despite all effort made by Marley Thomas to make things right was too petty to hold the cloudy rain, even after she got married, Marley Thomas kept pressuring her until it died down. Marley Thomas came out by himself with two of her nurses. The two nurses helped Mrs Johnson with Aviva and Marley Thomas and Mrs Johnson began to talk as they stride into the hospital. After a thoughtful discussion, Mrs Johnson disclosed what brought her to the hospital. "That girl is my cousin" " Oh, you mean, she is the daughter of your elder sister" "Yes", she replied. "But I thought your sister lives in Phoenix, what's she doing here", Glenn Thomas asked. Glenn Johnson hadn't been aware of everything that had happened to Mrs Johnson lately, because they've stopped talking for the last five years when he got married. Mrs Johnson smiled when he asked the question. "It is a story for another day, just examine her situation and I will be leaving her here today, so probably tomorrow morning before I leave for work I will check on her", said Mrs Johnson. Glenn Thomas conducted a test on Aviva, waited for the result of the test to be out and he came out with a depressing facial expression. "Her condition is critical" "Critical?", Mrs Johnson screamed and hopped from the couch where she sat.
