A little kiss on the neck and another nibbling on her lower lip while his hand travelled up her thighs, all amounted to a beautiful perfect night for Anna Presley, but such memory turned to a nightmare by daybreak, as she stared at her boyfriend's wedding card.

Heartbroken and humiliated, Anna seeks solace in her roots. WELCOME TO OAKDALE - the sign read and that was it.

It was the beginning of a wild story, where Anna is met with her high school crush on her first night in Oakdale. THROW HER OUT!!! It's been a week but those three words has haunted her than any horror movie would. "You sure about this?", he stared at her after going through her letter. Anna Presley smiled with a nod. She had thought it through. It was probably for the best. She couldn't remain here. This city was a torment to her soul. She couldn't even raise her head while walking. She was a laughing stock here in the hospital as well. It was of no use staying behind. She stood to her feet and bowed. It was her resignation letter, she turned to leave his office, "Ms. Presley", he called out and she turned to him, "goodluck", he smiled. She returned his smile and left, walking down the hallway, and hearing their mutterings and giggles. They were mocking her. For the past one week, it had become her lifestyle. This was the main reason why she was not only resigning at the hospital but leaving Kingston Heights in general. She would start her life afresh. Anna turned to look at the nurses laughing at her but she had no strength to even say a word to them. She sighed and walked away. Anna Presley got out from the hospital and boarded a cab straight home. Her life would begin anew from tomorrow. She threw herself on her bed as her tears flowed. She remembered aching for his touch. His every whisper of "I love you" that night. Staring down at her body like she's the most precious thing he's ever laid eyes on. It was all in one night, but by morning, it felt like a dream. She had happily headed to the hospital from his place after a rough quick morning sesh, only to stare at her phone in her hand two hours later, to see a wedding card displaying before her. His name was on it. What was his name doing on a wedding card? Damon Frost was getting married few hours after confessing how much she meant to him. She shrugged at it, believing badly that it was a prank, but foolishly, she ran down to the venue. She remembered alighting the cab and walking in to see Damon at the altar with a lady she'd never seen before. Crazily she ran up there and.... A knock on her door got her wiping her tears as her mom walked in. "You sure about this baby?", her mom stroked her hair. Anna nodded. It was for the best. She was sure of it. "You don't have to leave, we can..... "Mom", Anna cut her off with a sniff, "I'll be fine. And I'd be staying with Gina anyways. I haven't seen her in a while. I could use the fresh air too", she smiled trying to look convincing, but both women knew she was dead inside. The crazy bubbly Anna Presley had been humiliated and left heartbroken. Her mom nodded, "if you say so, but if you ever need anything... "Mom", Anna hushed her. "I'll be fine", she reassured. A pout formed on her mom's lips as the woman drew her into a hug, "my poor baby", she caressed her back and released her. "You should sleep and leave by morning Anna", her mom tried to argue but Anna had made up her mind. "It's a three hours journey, I can make it if I leave now", she smiled and walked into the bathroom to wash her face one last time as she walked out and drew her suitcase after her. The least she could let her mom do, was drive her to the train station and see her off. Goodbye Kingston Heights. Hello Oakdale. She left by 5pm and exactly 8pm, she'd arrived Oakdale. Gina worked as a nurse as well and was currently working her night shift, so she couldn't pick her up. The plan was to come in tomorrow morning and stay at her place, but Anna couldn't stand a second more at Kingston. She found a hotel for the night and checked in. She'd simply call Gina to come pick her up by morning. Anna fell on the bed. Oakdale was a beautiful suburb and the air felt nice, yet she felt down and depressed. "I guess moving miles away doesn't cut it", she sighed and laid on her back, her face staring up at the ceiling. "Damon", she whispered, a sigh escaping her throat as she sniffed. What exactly did she do wrong to deserve such? He really went all out to shatter her heart. At this point, she'd have preferred a breakup over text. The fool didn't even bother to send a compensation money like other billionaires did. He was heartless and stingy as well. Right now, she was pitying the young lady who walked into a trap. Anna sat up and shook her head. She didn't come all the way to continue her tears. She came to start afresh and what nicer way to start afresh is there than a little celebration. She nodded and stood to her feet, walking out the room and down out to the street. She sighted a little bar and strode towards it mindlessly and completely lost in thoughts, as the screeching of the vehicle tires snapped her back to earth. Anna gasped holding her chest. "Can't you watch it?!!", she yelled ready to lash out her pent-up anger on him, but he stepped out in his gorgeousness that had her staring with her mouth open. "I did use the horn but you seemed lost", he said but Anna heard nothing as she stared at him. Soon his gorgeous face turned familiar. "E... Ethan?" Anna called and walked even closer, "Ethan! It's you!", she snapped and broke a chuckle. "Errr ...." "Anna. Anna Presley. High school! You wouldn't remember anyways", she chuckled, stylishly tucking her hair behind her ears, and then he broke into a smile. "Anna. Been a while", Ethan smiled. "I didn't know you'd still live here in this town", she giggled completely flushed as she stared at him. It was really him! In a simple jean and hood yet radiating more than the night's moon. Ethan Anderson! What female in their right senses didn't have a crush on him. She was always lost in his ocean blue eyes and a smile that would get any lady kissing the ground he walked on. Anna Presley had grown up here in Oakdale until her dad got transferred out to Kingston Heights and they had to move but he was her first love or crush.. yeah... First crush. Sadly, he barely noticed her then as he was a grade older, but that didn't stop her from crushing on him and hell!!!! He grew up well, more than she had imagined. "You still live here?" Ethan asked her. "No. I mean yes. Now I do. I just came in tonight", Anna smiled foolishly. No one would believe she was the same who was crying over a man. "Well,I came to eat.... "Me too!" She interjected rather quickly that she bit her lips in embarrassment. "I meant me too.. yeah.. I came to grab a bite", she chuckled. He chuckled as well, "well, after you", he gestured her in . . "He will definitely regret it", Anna smirked, completely wasted. "He has to!!", she cried. Ethan laughed, staring at her. She was just too cute. They'd been at it for almost three hours, and frankly, he wasn't bored. Anna had told her life s********e set of people should really be banned from drinking, and Anna was one. He looked away in a chuckle and returned his gaze to her. Anna had passed out. She planned to drink till she drops anyway, and she really went for it. Ethan smiled handsomely, and called the waitress's attention. The young lady ran over with a smile. He was a god and even annoyingly, he knew he looked good. He was proud about it. He smirked and paid for their meal. Walking around to Anna's side, he picked her purse and tapped her but she didn't bulge. "Anna" "Hey... Anna?", he kept tapping her but she only gave a low grumble and turned her face away. He chuckled and lifted her in his arms, out of the bar and straight into his car. He walked round and sat in the driver's seat. He tapped her again. "Hey, where do you stay?" "Anna", he tapped her but she was really out. He sighed and the idea of keeping her in a hotel didn't really sit well with him. He didn't want anyone looking at him weirdly, besides he was meant to be a ghost here in Oakdale. His existence was to be hidden, he didn't expect to run into any old time classmates or friends, why he consented to eating with her was what he still couldn't explain. Sighing yet again after so many trials, he finally drove home. Taking her into his apartment and placing her gently on his bed, tucking her in properly. He'd just take the couch instead. But only an hour had passed or maybe two when he felt someone snuggling beside him on the couch. Snapping his eyes open, there Anna was sniffing him up on the couch. "Anna?" "Hi", she looked up with a bright smile that weirdly made his heart flutter.
