I rushed to my classroom and grabbed a seat. Ms. Bells must be coming soon. Thank Goodness, I reached on time. Ms. Bells was an upbeat woman in late 20s who teaches us Maths, one of my favorite subjects. Honestly, because I can put my headphones on and solve the problems.
"Good Morning ma'am" class said in unison.
"Good morning Students. Please sit down, I need to make an announcement," she said in her usual bubbly voice.
"Please don't be a surprise test. Please don't be a surprise test," I heard a guy praying behind me.
"Today's your lucky day, Mr. Jones. I'm not taking a surprise test," Ms. Bells reassured with a laugh. Everyone laughed.
"Actually, we have a transfer student in our class. Come in, Mr. Reed" She added.
A tall guy (5'11''), with the angular jawline and straight brown hair, came in. Is he wearing sunglasses? Seriously? No one let me do that or I would've been sleeping in History class without being caught.
"Oh my God! He's so cute," said a girl from corner seat.
"Oh, boy, he's hot!"
"I'm gonna ask him out," said another.
Azazel
It was my first day at this school. Man, I don't even know what they are teaching here these days. Jay had to get me into this. That Son of a b***h.
Anyways, I parked my Ferrari and looked for my class.
It all looks like a Labyrinth to me. A girl. I can ask her.
"Hey! I'm new here. Can you tell me where this room is?"
She looked at me and she didn't seem to listen.
"Excuse me?" I asked a little louder.
I hate when people act like this. I mean I look nice, so what? It's just a pretty face.
"Yeah?" she seemed to come out of her trance and now she's smiling.
God, why?
"Can you tell me how to get here?" I gave her the piece of paper with a room no. written on it.
"Yeah, go straight and turn left". she answered.
"Thank You," I said with a smile.
Somehow, I reached the room.
"Mr. Reed!! I am your class teacher, Ms. Bells. Can you wait here for a moment so I can make the announcement?" A cheerful lady in her late 20s said to me.
"Okay" I replied with no emotion.
I just want to get over with it.
With that, she went to class. After a minute she called me inside.
"Mr. Reed has transferred here from Chicago. The best and brightest it says," she said referring to me.
What? I'm good at studies and sports. Yes. But J didn't have to put that in there.
"He plays basketball. Oh! Good! We do have a Basketball team here. You can apply for the try-outs." she added.
Damn you, Jay. Now I have to play.
"And has the a.....medical condition?" Ms. Bell read from his file.
"I've got a doctor's prescription to wear sunglasses during the day. It's for the eyes" I explained.
"Oh. Would you mind an introduction?" Ms. Bells asked politely. Do I have a choice?
"Greetings, everyone. My name is Azazel Reed and I'm from Chicago. I look forward to having a nice year with you. Thank You" I said in a calm collective voice.
Honestly, I just want to graduate without drawing attention to myself.
I saw a few girls staring at me and giggling. Yeah. So much for not drawing attention.
I took off my sunglasses.
"Lovely, now I guess you haven't got your books issued yet, have you?" Ms. Bells asked me.
"No Ma'am" I replied.
"Ms. Prescott, Do you mind sharing yours with Mr. Reed? Mr. Reed, you may sit in the seat next to Ms. Prescott and we can start with the lecture," Ms. Bell said in her cheery voice. I turned my head to see this Ms. Prescott she was referring to, to see a girl with brown hair. She was looking at her book. She raised her eyes and looked straight into my eyes and for a moment, I felt like she could see right through me. I fought the urge to wear my sunglasses again.
"Sure," she said in a confident voice.
