Military School and Truth

Gerald then left the Royal Palace, escorted by the royal guards, he entered in the royal car. But before that, he uses his portrait ability to change his appearance as per his father's orders.
On their way to the Royal Military School, Gerald is perusing his handbook regarding the lessons that will be taught to them. Military schools are a must for a royal prince as he will fight in the frontline in the future or acts as a commanding officer. This is where he’s weak at. Without foreknowledge in regards to battle and politics. He’s left behind by Roland who is good at those.
Though he compensated for it by reading a lot of books regarding politics and military tactics in the royal library. He has the confidence that he will ace this military school again.
By the way, the Royal Military School is adjacent to the University of Londoln where that school specializes in science, engineering, arts, economics, medicine, and so on. The nobles and the common people have the chance to choose either one of the schools. But most nobles man is obliged to take a military school to prepare themselves if the Empire finds itself in the war.
Those who graduated in middle school have the change to pursue higher education, but the tuition is high and only the nobles can afford it while the common people don’t have much of a choice but work as a workforce in manufacturing factories which is bad for Empire that will lead itself to brain drain situation. Gerald proposed another reform that common people can pursue higher education and can apply for a student loan to pay their tuition fee.
Though education is now compulsory in middle schools, the tuition is high for the common people to study at the prestigious university.
Gerald knew the importance of human labor in this era. He has to take advantage of it and use those illiterate common people to become literate. They need to contribute to this country.
Arriving at a Royal Military School, it was full of students wearing their uniform that looks exactly like a redcoat. Gerald is wearing it also.
Strolling his baggage he then moves forward to enter the school but looking to the side, there is also a lot of students that lead to the University of Londoln. Everyone seems to be in a happy mood as they are excited to take their four-year course in this school.
Though he also pities them for how hard it is to pass a college and get a bachelor’s degree. He only wished them good luck.
“Gerald~sama!”
Before he entered the main entrance, someone called him from behind. It was Elise Clorance accompanied by Catarina Belmont. They were running at him while their boobs are wobbling left and right.
“You’re not taking engineering?” Elise said.
“As much as I love to but I believe that I have an enormous amount of knowledge in terms of engineering, besides a royal prince must attend military school.” He explained flauntingly.
“Then, how long you’ll be studying in a military school?” Catarina added.
Gerald was about to reply to that question quickly but was stopped by a moment of realization. They will realize that why is he only studying for six months? The military school needed two years for someone to graduate. Will he be able to answer it?”
“Guys, can I talk to you for a sec?” He said in a soft voice indicating that there is something’s wrong.
Catarina and Elise were troubled by his tone. He was unusually being himself today. Therefore, they move to the side where there is a tree that blocks the sunlight.
“Guys, I have to tell you something important.” He said while gathering energy from himself, he knew that they will react the moment he blurted the reason.
“Is something matter?” Catarina was now troubled.
The two stared at him, urging for an answer.
“The truth is, I will be leaving the Empire and be assigned to Brittania Columbia as a prime minister. My father has already completed the necessary preparation for the transition of power to the current prime minister there. I don’t know how long I will stay in that country but I believe it will be a long time. Which led to me worrying that I will not be able to see you two. It saddens me.”
Now, that they knew the reason why he’s acting like that. The two wore a worried expression. It’s bad news especially for Catarina who will be left studying.
“When did your father assigned you?” Catarina said breaking her voice.
“It was yesterday. My brother Roland will be assigned as well to compete for the right of the throne. Therefore the royal prince will leave the Empire in six months prior.”
Now, the atmosphere between them became solemn, as the two started to have tears in their eyes.
Gerald hugged the two together and said.
“Don’t worry, is not that I’ll be leaving forever. I’ll return as well. I have never told this to Alice and Anne but I’m sure that they will be sad when I’m gone. It’s an order from the king so I must follow it.”
Gerald is calming them down, easing their sadness as they sniffed in Gerlad’s uniform. He can also feel that his uniform is beginning to wet due to their tears.
“Don’t cry now, hush, you’re making me sad seeing you react like that when I will leave. When I’m gone, I will do my best to return to Empire periodically so I can see you. Besides, we have a wedding in two years. I will surely be back. Now, go back, you have your first class, you don’t want to be late in your first subject.” He said jokingly.
But the two can’t let go of Gerald, they are still hugging him tightly.
“Come on guys, It’s not like I’ll be leaving now. I have six months left. Don’t worry I’ll be using that time to spend with you.”
He assured them that even though his schedules are full.
The two looked at him with wet eyes.
“Really?”
“Of course.”
“You promise?”
“I promise! Now return to your school. By the way good luck with your studies, Elise you’ll be pursuing biology right? I can help you after class as well as Catarina.”
“It’s a promise huh?” Catarina clarified again on which Gerald assured her again and again.
Until they finally let out of their grasp. The two left with the sentence “See you later!”
That sentence will be important in their lives from now on.
Meanwhile, Gerald entered the Royal Military School and attended his first class. But before he entered the room he bumped into another student. She was now on her ground trying to get up. When Gerald offered his hand it was completely rejected by hitting his hand away.
The woman in front of her is short blonde hair tied in a french braid by a blue ribbon and has red eyes. wearing a military uniform.
Military uniform differs in age. The men wore a red military uniform similar to grenadier guards uniform but for women, they wore a skirt. On which he can see she’s wearing a white thigh-high that accentuates her beautiful and soft thigh.
“What are you looking at?” The woman blurted after she notices his gaze scanning her body. Then she proceeded to cover her medium bust away.
“I’m sorry, I will make sure that this will never happen again.” And then he grabbed all her things that drop on the floor. And give it to her.
“I’m sorry but I have my first class in five minutes, I must get going. But I would like to repay you with my carelessness. What is your name?”
“Huh? My name is Wales. Andrea Wales.” She said in a dignified voice. She was indeed noble at her uniform and elegant.
“Okay, Andrea Wales, how about we meet at afternoon break? I will treat you a meal…”
“What is your name?” She interrupted.
“Ahh, just like Catarina…” He muttered to himself.
“What are you saying?” She moved her face closely on which Gerald immediately back off.
“I’m sorry about that suddenness. Now, tell me your name!” She said in a dignified voice.
“I’m…”
“Wales! Come on we’re late!” A woman sounded behind her. This time it was a woman that looks like her.
Are they perhaps a sibling? But the woman who butted in the conversation has long blonde hair that droops all the way to her waist and a dark brown pantyhose. She is also as beautiful as the woman who stands before him.
“Sister, What are you doing here?” She said.
“I’ve come here to get you!” And then she looked at Gerald.
“Who’s this man? Your lover?”
“Ei?!” The two reacted in surprise.
“I have a wife now…” Gerald muttered to himself.
“I don’t know this guy, but he bumped into me and pushed me to the ground. Scumbag!”
“Hah? When did I do that!” He protested, “We just bumped ourselves accidentally and you’re telling your sister that I push you to the ground?”
But she smirks, indicating that she was teasing him.
“Is that true?” Her sister said menacingly, “I’m fond of directness but if you push it too far you’ll receive a punishment.” She said in a calm soothing voice. It contradicts her expression earlier.
“So both of you are sisters huh?”
“That right” Both of them said.
“Then, allow me to apologize later at afternoon break. Meet me at the cafeteria. I will be treating you anything you want.”
“Hmph, I wouldn’t waste my time on nobody like you. If you’re the second prince of the Empire maybe I can consider it.” She said.
“Second prince?”
“That’s right, the man of my life who orchestrated beautifully the rebellion, defeating them in a matter of two months, a famous engineer in aerospace. He’s a dashing man compared to you. Although he’s been engaged to Catarina! My childhood friend. I will not give up!” She proudly declared.
Huh? This noblewoman is in love with Gerald? But he is Gerald, he’s only in disguise. This woman doesn’t know who she’s talking to.
“Enough of that! Her sister said, “Just accept the offer, Andrea. By the way, I’m Howe Wales! Daughter of Duke of Wales who is renowned in the military. A pleasure to meet you.”
At least this one is reasonable. But when he was about to give his name he realized the time! It was now one minute left before the class starts. So he started rushing into the classroom leaving the two.
“What a rude fellow!” Andrea said she is completely displeased.
“Calm down, Andrea, we’ll meet him again in the afternoon.”
“Are you really considering his offer?” Andrea asked.
“Of course, he’s a good fellow. I can sense it.”

Later that afternoon, they met as a promise, Gerald was waiting for them to come as he shook his leg up and down and tapping monotonously in the table. They surely take too long to come. He only has 15 minutes of a break but they are not here yet.
But at last, they arrived!
“It took you so much time to get here.” He complained.
“Huh? You’re lucky that we took up your offer! You inconsiderate man. That’s why I hate you since the time I met you.” Andrea said.
“Andrea calm down,” Howe said while everyone in the cafeteria is looking at them.
“I understand your uneasiness but please mind your behavior.” She added.
Her sister is really reasonable.
“Fine!” She said and sat on the chair.
“Hey! Is that Andrea Wales and Howe Wales?”
“They are really beautiful, I’m so envious of that man sitting with them.”
“Who is that man in the first place?”
“That guy is surely lucky”
Everyone was looking at them filled with jealousy. Though it can’t be helped since they are really indeed a beautiful fellow.
“Now, I didn’t give my name before because of my class schedule. But you can call me Anthony.” He said.
“Okay, Anthony! Please buy me the most expensive course meal on the menu!” Andrea said.
“This...woman…” Gerald muttered, she is really getting on his nerves.
“What is it?” She interjected.
“Ah? No problem, your wish is my command” He said and bought the expensive course meal on the menu.
