CHAPTER 30 Gembert arrived at the apartment with breakfast. The two women who had been with him on the first day they’d met wheeled in a cart and set the food out on the short table by the sofa. “Won’t you join us, chamberlain?” Blodwyn offered. Gembert waved off the invitation. “Thank you, but no thank you. I’ll return in an hour. Have you a plan in mind for this morning?” “Actually, we were hoping to speak with Elma.” “Of course.
