CHAPTER 31 Mykal was somewhat surprised Queen Sarah didn’t hear them approaching. She stood in the main foyer in front of the polished wood table holding the iron bust of her father. The likeness was close, but nothing uncanny. Mykal was more impressed by the amazing tapestry hanging on the wall behind the monumental display. The white cloth in the queen’s left hand dabbed at tears cried. Mykal allowed the young girl a moment more with the thoughts of her father.
