DROWNING IN HER EYES

Kim jong has just taken up the house hold responsibility after the demise of her father , she has to become the man of the house and she had to sacrifice her college fund for her younger sister Jin and her mom who has been suffering from scisures. Kim jong has to work overtime and do a lot of side jobs in order to pay the bills, Kim jong had seen a scholarship ad for a law university ,she was so happy that she had to look up online in order to make more enquiry, the scholarship offer was due tomorrow so she barely had enough time to review her books for the exams she told her mom and sister Jin about the exams and they were so happy Jin said "finally sister Kim you would be able to fulfill your dreams of being a renowned lawyer".Jin hugged her sister and their mom Mrs xiaxier jong hugged and kissed her two daughters on the cheek and they all smiled . Kim brought out the pork belly she had bought for her mom and sister and Mrs jong said "Kim dear you don't have to pamper us so much "and Kim replied if I don't pamper my sweet mom and cute sister who else will I pamper, they all ate happily and went to bed. Kim had to stay up all night in order to study because she was really desperate for the scholarship she even slept off on the study table. the next morning Jin woke her sister up and felt so sad after seeing her sister's pale face and her swollen eyes which showed how hard her sister Kim studied all night ,Jin felt so emotional and gave her sister a big hug and tears ran down her eyes ,Kim was a bit startled and she said "don't be a drama queen Jin am fine you know your sister is a super woman"she wiped Jin's face and went to have her shower because she was already running late for the exams ,Kim took her bath quickly and as she was about to rush out her mom called her back and fed her some dumplings .Mrs jong scolded Kim for trying to leave without having food telling her to take care of herself Kim nodded and said ok mom , bye love you . Kim had to trek to the exam center because it was not too far from where they lived so she saw no need to waste money inorder to board a taxi ,as Kim tried to cross the road in a hurry she fell in front of a car , this car belonged to none other than young master Jimin a renowned business man a professor and the owner of several university,he is so handsome and every girl in the city desire to just stand beside him. Kim stood up parked her books and stood up immediately and rushed off ,young master Jimin got a glimpse of Kim's face before his driver drove off quickly , Kim managed to get to the exam center right on time before the gates could be closed,she so a car that looked familiar it was the car she just bumped into on her way to the center.she wondered what a wealthy, dashing and educated guy would be doing in her soon to be university; but she remembered that she had bigger fish to fry, she looked around searching for the exam hall, where she was supposed to write her scholarship exam in her confusion, she accidentally bumped into Jimin,he was quite the gentleman he helped her up.kim joon felt something she had never felt before when she was held up by her soon to be prince charming, she rose up quickly and was ready to embark on her nearly abandoned journey, with a smile he introduced his self, while she was caught up day dreaming his calm voice brought her back to reality ” you didn't tell me your name " . oh am sorry replied Kim jong, there's no need to be sorry my name is joon Kim, sorry Kim jong I don't know why am acting like this . she repeatedly cursed her self in her mind. it was nice to meet you joon Kim sorry Kim jong;she blushed and ran as the alarm she set on her phone for the scholarship exam set off , bye she yelled as she entered the hall with a heart filled with motivation though there was a little doubt she sat as she waited for the invigilator .Kim joon taught she would get reunited with her prince,but sadly her dreams were crashed by the weight of reality, before she could blink twice an Irish-spanish speaking ,overweight invigilator popped out of nowhere, he said he would start the exam after the count of Three precisely "uno, dous,treis" Unfortunately for Kim she didn't understand Spanish she taught he was talking some trash about his wife or boss.suddenly she noticed others writing and the old man watching her . It took her nothing to understand that the exam had started she hurriedlly wrote down all she burnt candles for. after the exam she prayed to God begging, while raising her head she saw a recognisable smile it was Jimin, her heart skipped some beats but as we all know girls will always be girls . She beamed a cute smile back at him, so how was the exam asked Jimin. She replied with a semi smile it was fine , he saw her face and noticed her expression which made him conclude that the examination didn't go so smoothly but he lifted her spirit with a joke and told her to have faith in her self " I really believe in you I know for sure that you'll pass the exams and bag that scholarship" those words melted her heart as she began daydreaming again he tapped her playfully on her head and she heard her phone ring, she cut the call the first time but Jimin forced her to pick up the call the next time it rang.she promised so they went to the uni's canteen. "say my name,say my name if you love me let me hear,I am dying to believe you" her phone's ringtone jilted her,do you listen to bts? yes I do , you're quite the girly girl (cute) he murmured . she picked the call and shocked with the news. she bade goodbye to her new found friend and literally ran back home once she arrived home she found her sister crying, she asked where is mom ? she's in the hospital, she had a heart attack, uncle bob called the ambulance and took her to the hospital as she weeped her big sister gave her a hug telling her everything was going to be alright. have you eaten asked Kim "no" replied her sobbing sister . seriously, let me cook some noodles for you, while cooking she contemplated on how she would pay the hospital bills . then she realized she had a pot on the stove she quickly turned off the stove and served the noodles to Jin, who forced her to join her so they ate together and immediately after Jin fell asleep on Kim's lap,the two sisters had quite of a tight bond due to the death of their father,cause her father loved Jin the most because she was the youngest. after the death of their father they became closer one clinged to the other for support and the other clinged to the other for love. Kim layed her sister on the bed and asked uncle bob to look after her as she left to see her mom at the hospital ,when Kim arrived at the hospital she rushed to search for the ward that her mom was in she asked the receptionist "ma which room is Mrs xiaxier jong"the receptionist checked the register and told her it's room 23 go down and turn left ,Kim nodded and rushed off when she saw her mom laying helplessly on the hospital bed .she asked desperately "doctor how is my mom now" and the doctor told her that they have given her some medicines to mollify the situation but she was still in danger and they can't start the full treatment unless 1 million yuan has been deposited ,Kim felt so helpless and begged the doctor to start the treatment but the doctor said "sorry mam but we follow some certain rules and I can't help you". Kim broke into tears as she checked her account and saw that she had only 100 thousand yuan in her account , she rushed off immediately and started trying to arrange for the money.
