The hill house
A long time ago there lived a girl named Cloris. A very imaginative, creative and curious little girl. She didn't have parents but an aunt, Valetta. Valetta looked after her quite well. One day they got into a train. ‘Aunt Valetta, why are we on the train?’ asked Cloris. ‘I've got a new job, and I can't look after you.’ said Valetta, ‘So you can't stay with me and I'm giving a lady, Autumn your responsibility.’ ‘When will you see me then?’ asked Cloris. ‘I'll come every month to see you two.’ said Valetta. ‘That's fine!’ said Cloris. At the evening they reached and started walking, that's when Cloris spotted a house on the hill. ‘Auntie, let's go there!’ she said. ‘We're going there.’ said Valetta. Cloris raced up the little hill. When she reached she saw a green meadow and a lot of flowers. Her aunt reached the top when a woman opened the door. ‘You must be Cloris?’ she said. ‘Oh and oh there Valetta!’ ‘Hi Autumn.’ said the two together. They introduced and talked for a while when Valetta said hurriedly: ‘I might be late.’ And left waving goodbye. Cloris waved back and turned to Autumn. ‘Nice to meet you ma'am.’ she said respectfully. Autumn smiled and welcomed the girl in. ‘Have this, and this... oh you want that? you can take that, and that there...’ she said giving Cloris cake and tea and sweets. ‘But don't you have it all now.’ warned Autumn, and Cloris shook her head. She missed her Aunt well but liked Autumn well too. ‘So we'll be together from now on, and you have to take care of...’ instructed Autumn. ‘Oh, yes I'll do that!’ said Cloris trying to be obedient. The two talked for a while. ‘I can't wait for tomorrow!’ ‘I hope you'll like it here.’ ‘Of course I'll, because you give me more snacks than aunt Valetta ever did.’ ‘So that's the reason...’ said Autumn as Cloris giggled. ‘But the sweets you had this evening is enough for today!’ ‘Oh it's fine.’ said Cloris.
