Chapter 36

Alice:

I received a text form Sebastian as we walked into the training room. I quickly looked at it and it said:

The ceremonies will be tomorrow at 10pm. Do you think you can come?

I smiled then replied:

I think I can make it. I will get a trusted guard to go with me. 

 He replied:

I will see you tomorrow and don't forget that I love you.

I smiled then sighed loudly as I replied:

I love you too.

I placed my phone back in my bag and Angela said "Were you texting your mate?" I smiled then said, "Was it that obvious?" She smiled as she said, "A bit." I laughed then said, "Come on, let's practice for a bit. Then I have to go talk to Jake to accompany somewhere tomorrow." She jumped then hugged me as she squealed then said, "You are going to meet him. I'm so happy for you!" I felt myself blush then said, "Come on, let's practice. Just because I'm happy doesn't mean I will let you off the hook." She smiled then said, "We need to go find the best dress for tomorrow." I blushed before nodding my head. 

We began to train and about 4 hours later we were done. We went to get Lux from Jake and the other guys but were surprised that they were eating burgers outside. Angela walked up to Lux then said as she crossed her arms, "I thought you were training?" Everyone looked at her then at me and I shrugged as I smiled. Lux gulped loudly then said, "Here." He gave her a burger and she gave him a glare. I walked up to them and said as I took it, "I'll take it, I'm hungry now." Angela glared at me then said after she sighed loudly, "Fine." She sat next to Lux and made herself a burger. 

We ate as we joked and laughed. As everyone began to leave I said to Jake once I saw him get up, "Captain Jake, can I have a word?" He looked at me confused then said, "Of course, Princess." I got up and walked a few feet away and said, "I was invited to go see my mate and I will need an escort." He knelt and said, "I will have a team ready." I smiled then said, "I can't take too many guards just one will be fine." He looked at me then said, "Who did you have in mind?" I shook my head as I said, "I was thinking about you." He looked shocked and I added, "You will be able to keep my identity a secret and especially the identity of my mate a secret." He nods and says, "Yes, Princess." I smiled then said, "Now get up and go rest. Tomorrow we will leave around 5pm." He gets up and says, "I will be ready." I nod and walk back to where Angela and Lux were still seating. 

Angela says as she gets up, "You'll be taking Captain Jake?" I nod and Lux says, "Where are you going?" I smile then say, "I'm going to meet my mate." He frowns then Angela says, "I'm going to make you sleep in a guest room so you can understand what she's feeling being away from her mate." He looks at her angrily but she looks at him with the same fierceness and he hangs his head in defeat. I smile then say, "I will be there only tomorrow night then I will return." He frowned but didn't say anything. We returned to our rooms and I grabbed my phone and sent a text to Sebastian:

Have a good night, I love you.

I placed my phone on the bed as I grabbed my PJs and towel then I grabbed my phone and headed to the bathroom. As I got in the shower my phone rang and I saw it was Sebastian replying. It said:

I love you and can't wait to see you tomorrow. 

 I felt joy in my heart and I began to take a shower. Once I was done I got dressed and went to bed feeling very happy. I woke up the next day early and I was very excited about going to meet my mate. I got dressed then made my way to see my mother. As I walked to her room I saw Hanna walk out. I looked ta her then said, "Is everything okay?" She looks at me worried then says, "Your mother is having dreams of your father. She truly believes that he may be alive." I felt a sharp pain in my chest then said as I grabbed the doorknob, "I'll talk to her." She nods then leaves.

I walk in and I see my mother sitting next to the opened balcony and she sighs loudly. I walk up to her and ask, "What's on your mind?" She looks at me startled then says, "I didn't hear you walk in." I smile then say, "Is everything okay?" She looks at me hesitantly then says, "I think your father may be alive." I looked at her sympathetically and she says, "I know it sounds crazy but I somehow feel him." I sighed then say, "What do you feel?" She touches her left shoulder as she says, "When your father marked me, he took some of my blood and vise versa. I somehow feel him and I think it's because of that." I wanted to be hopeful but I knew better since we weren't able to find his body. I gave her a sad smile before I said, "I know you miss him but please don't torture yourself." She looked at me then nodded sadly. 

We sat in silence for a few minutes before she asked, "What did you come to talk to me about?" I smiled remembering that I had to tell her that I was going out. I took a deep breath and said with a big smile, "I was invited to a friend's of my mate's Alpha and Luna Ceremony." She smiled and said, "Does that mean you are going to see your mate?" I smile then nod as I bit my lip. She laughs at my childish reaction and says, "I hope to meet him soon." I smile again and I say, "Once the pact is done we will have a Royal Wedding to announce to all the Vampires that he is my mate." She nods and says, "Who will be accompanying you?" I look at her nervously then say, "I'll be taking only Jake." She frowned but said, "I think that's good since you count for half the Royal Army." I smile as I saw her frown turn to a smile. I gave her a kiss and hugged her as I said, "Thank you." She gave me a pat on the back and said, "When do you leave?" I looked at her then said, "At 5pm." She gave me a playful glare then said as she smiled, "I get to have a day with Angela which I hope makes her feel more comfortable." I smile then say, "I think she's get more confident. She kind of reminds me of my younger self." She places her hand on my cheek then says, "I know, she reminds me of you too." I smiles then we hear a knock on the door.
