“Hey.”
Eve’s soft voice dragged me out of my thoughts.
I turned around. “Hey.”
She sat down on the chair across from me. “You haven’t touched your food.” She said, her eyes fixed on the full plate of pasta.
I let out a deep sigh. “I’m not hungry.”
She responded with a chuckle. “Why?”
I shrugged my shoulders. “I don’t know….I just feel overwhelmed.” I admitted, my voice low. But I couldn’t tell her that it was because of the baby.
I wasn’t sure if Sean wanted her to know that I was pregnant for someone else. I mean, it would be weird knowing that his mate had a baby for another man.
