I touch Rae's back to get her to calm down and try to get her away from my aunt, but she flinches back. She looks at me with disgust. "Excuse me. I have to go," she says, but I don't wait. I follow her, except other people begin to stop her so they can introduce themselves to her or to ask for pictures. I am so damn annoyed. I just need a minute with her alone, and it feels like it will never happen. Something else is always going on, and it is starting to really piss me off.
