Myla 's life is a tangled web of lies and feelings. She lives in the small town of Willowbrook, which is out of the way. Her family doesn't like that she turns into a wolf, and Donovan 's ruthless alpha influence clashes with that, leading to a reluctant marriage. But as tension and an unexpected attraction grow between them, Maverick , a rival alpha, claims her as his mate. This forces Myla to choose between her past and her new link with Donovan . In the middle of all this chaos, Donovan thinks about telling Myla about his plan to impregnate her, which would strengthen his claim and keep her from Maverick 's grasp. As the moonlight shows how uncertain their future is, Myla stands at a crossroads, torn between her past and what her heart really wants. The stakes are high, the packs are on edge, and the threat from Maverick is getting closer. Myla , Donovan , and their growing love are hanging by a thread, and one question remains: Can their passionate werewolf romance survive the challenges that are coming?

Chapter 1
Myla had a hard time keeping her gift a secret. When she laughed, she would shine so brightly that everyone around her would gasp. Her older sister had always been jealous of her, and when they were younger, she would often laugh at her or make mean jokes about her. Even though Myla was mistreated as a child, she still ran after her sister and her friends. When they were playing hide and seek, her sister told her to hide in a cave where no one would look for her. Myla chose to hide there, but no one came to find her for a long time. Myla , who was only four years old, tried to find her way out, but she ended up going deeper inside. When she fell on a rock and made a noise, a group of bats swarmed around her to get rid of her. She screamed and ducked to protect herself, then ran away, only to find a pair of yellow eyes staring at her attentively. Myla was getting more and more scared as the yellow eyes got closer to her. She stood still on the ground, her small hands holding tight to her dress. Myla was hurt in so many places that she couldn't say a word. When she changed how she looked, she could see that the eyes belonged to an animal that was sneaking up on her. It smelled her when it got close. Myla closed her eyes as soon as the animal picked her up and put her on its back. The animal then ran towards the mouth of the cave with Myla on its back. --- As Delaney, the leader of the Blue Moon pack, walked through the jungle, he heard the screams of a small kid. His strong sense of smell led him to where the sound was coming from, and he could tell it was a wolf kid. He went into the cave and saw a little girl who had been hurt and left by herself. As he got closer, he could see that bats and other animals that only come out at night were all around her. Even though he was curious about why she was there, he had to save her. He picked her up quickly and ran outside, where he was followed by a lot of bats. Even though it was raining, Delaney ran very fast through the thick bush, avoiding all the obstacles. He thought it was funny that Myla , who was riding on his back, had a tight grip on his ears. He didn't stop until he got to the house of his friend Ed. When he changed back into a person, he took Myla off his lap and gave her to him. She was tired and sleepy. Ed couldn't believe how bad his granddaughter looked. Myla had fallen asleep and looked like she had passed out. "I found her in Miclan's cave," Delaney said, referring to the cruel chief who lived deep in the woods and wouldn't let his people talk to other tribes. If they did, they would be killed. Ed shivered and asked, "How did she get there?" "I'm not sure..." Ed brought her inside and took care of her injuries. She was hurt, and when she went to sleep, she looked so weak that both Helmar and Delaney felt sad. Since she was a wolf kid, they knew she would get better quickly, but she still had to feel the pain until then. Since Delaney was close to Ed, he had known the child ever since she was born. Delaney liked the child a lot. When Helmar went to see his son, he would often bring her to his house to play with. Sometimes Delaney would come to visit, and he didn't know it, but he had grown very fond of her. Ed had even told him that she was the one with special skills. It was a well-kept secret that only two people knew, and they were both in the room. He had told Helmar many times not to send Myla back to her father because he knew how much her father hated her. However, Helmar knew that Myla could only get a proper home, or at least the closest thing to a proper home, at her father's place because he was often away. Delaney would have liked to take the child with him, but the problems with his pack were getting worse by the minute. Before going back to his pack, Delaney had dinner with Helmar and told him about his worries. "Ed, my tribe is facing another onslaught of wolves that aren't pure-bloods. It seems someone is trying to turn humans into werewolves and turn them into neotides. The worst part is that they are sending these neotides to us. The neotides don't have the control and temperament of the pureblood werewolves, so they bite every human they I'm going back for a few days to deal with this, but they're getting more and more dangerous every day, so I might not be able to..." he stopped. "Why are you speaking like this, Delaney?" Helmar asked. Delaney looked at his friend and said, "Promise me one thing, Ed." Ed was surprised by the way Delaney talked. He looked him in the eyes and asked, "Do you need my help?" Delaney shook his head and said, "No. I don't need any help." No one could feel sorry for his boss. "But I need one thing from you, Ed." Say, "Tell me." "I want you to ask Myla to marry my son." "But Delaney, you know she's already been..." "I know you, Ed, but you have to promise me..." Ed could tell that this was important to Delaney. He told her, "My son has already made decisions for her. What can I do? I'll do my best, though." "No, I need you to promise!" Ed nodded and said, "Okay, I promise." He knew that Delaney was pressing because he thought it was important. Before Delaney left and disappeared into the night, they ate dinner in silence. A few days later, Helmar heard that Delaney had been killed in the biggest attack on pureblood werewolves that had ever happened. Delaney's wife and son, who was seven years old, went into hiding with him. Once Myla was feeling better, Helmar left her with her dad and went to look for his best friend's family. He knew that no one in the family cared about Myla . Myla had been with her grandfather for a long time. When her father saw her come home, he just glanced at her out of the corner of his eye and then ignored her. Her nanny was the one who came to help Myla get inside. Myla lived with her father, two older brothers, and an older sister. Ernesh, her father, didn't have a lot of deals with other packs. In fact, they were one of the few packs that didn't follow the rules set out by the supreme alpha. The top alpha wanted all of the werewolf packs to follow the same rules so that they could work together against dark forces. But Myla 's father didn't want to join that group. Because of this, the alpha went to war with their pack after giving them enough time to give in to what he wanted. Myla 's father used her to fight against his army because he knew she was a strong person. Myla was the youngest and strongest of her brothers. She was only 19 years old. But because her father didn't like her so much, she didn't dare go see him. Even though she was stronger, faster, and had a better sense of smell than any other wolf her father had ever met, he was scared that one day she would rebel against him and take over the tribe. He was more fond of his oldest son, who wasn't as strong as Myla and didn't pose much of a threat to him. This meant that he could rule his group for as long as he wanted. But her father saw her promise and has used her against every enemy they've faced since she turned 18; she was his secret ace in the hole. Even though she was annoying to look at, he used her skills to keep himself safe. Myla knew that her father didn't like her, but she thought it was because her mother, Shira, had died while giving birth to her. She had been told that it was her fault that her mother had died. The guilt ate at her soul and made her agree to fight in every war her father asked her to fight in. When her grandfather walked into her room, she was still thinking about her father and wondering if they had won the war against the Supreme Alpha. He went to her bed and sat down next to her. It broke my heart to see her with so many cuts and scrapes. As he stroked her, she turned her head towards him and looked at him through her red, swollen eyes. Near her lips, she had deep cuts, and her hands and legs had deep bruises. He knew she was hurting, but he also knew she wouldn't tell him.
