The Nightmare Chronicles: Episode 1

The Plan

Jeff woke up and he was inside the casket which was in the graveyard. He pushed on it with his hands and feet until the lid moved off. Jeff stood up and left the graveyard. Everything was burned and destroyed, the sky was a blood red color, and the ground was cracked. It look him time to realize that he wasn’t on Earth anymore. Jeff didn’t know where he was but he knew that it wasn’t his home.

Meanwhile, Jon explained the stuff to his parents. His mother had a worried look in her eyes because she knew about the legend. She called Veronica’s mother and they had a long discussion about the situation. Jamie showed up with Veronica a little bit later. They explained their connection to the vampire. “Her name is Movex and she wasn’t always a vampire. Our friend Tiffany was super smart and she discovered another dimension. She was curious so she went to the dimension and came back as this creature,” Jamie said to the kids.

Veronica and Jonathon looked at each other and were astonished. They couldn’t believe that their parents had a connection to the vampire, and that it was once their best friend. The situation gave Jonathon a plan. “If she discovered the dimension that means there is a way to get there. We need to look for her old notes so we can figure out how to get Jeff back,” Jon said. His mother put her hand on his shoulder and told, “Tiffany was changed there so maybe your friend won’t be the thing returning if you try to get him”.

Jon needed a way to get there without him turning also. He hoped his friend wasn’t gone and that he could return how he had left. Veronica and her mother left and went back home. “Son, there is a way but it’s dangerous. I secretly went their also but I didn’t turn because I wore this necklace. The power can protect the wearer,” Jon’s mother said to him. Jonathon took the necklace and put it on. Him and his mother went to her friend’s old laboratory and went to search for a way to get in. His mother couldn’t remember where the entrance was. “Wait the graveyard. I think that’s where it is,” she said. Jonathon ran to the graveyard and laid in the casket, nothing happened.

Jonathon tried and tried but he couldn’t figure out how to get into the dimension to save his friend. He went to the local library and searched friends for wormholes and enter dimensional gateways. Jon spent an hour and he finally figured out how to get there. He just needed a totem to focus the energy for the gateway.
