CHAPTER 21
We decided on Brighton; Liliad wanted to go back to where she’d come from and I loved being by the sea. Also, I felt I could get lost in Brighton’s thriving gay community; not that I was gay, I wasn’t but it would be a fun game to see how much I could convince people that I was.
I’d been in touch with my landlord and given him three months’ notice of my intention to leave and given Robyn at work two. I was actually only obliged to give one month but I’d got on with Robyn so well and enjoyed my time at the Conference Centre I wanted to be as accommodating as I could.
