CHAPTER 23 I can’t deny that the interview with Inspector Munroe had unsettled me. Sitting with Liliad on the window seat I sipped at the double brandy I’d poured, trying to calm the butterflies in my stomach. ‘That man definitely has it in for me, Liliad and I have a horrible feeling he’s never going to let go. The sooner we can lose ourselves in Brighton the better.’ There were only three weeks to wait; I’d booked us into a small hotel for a week when we first arrive to give us time to view apartments, we’d picked out six possibles on the internet but I wanted to see them for real before making a decision.
