The Mafia, The Assassin and The Alpha King

January 13th, 2010 Today is no different than any other day, my mother and her best friend Lisa Torrio were laughing making breakfast. The boys training intensely every morning so my mother and Lisa made it tradition to eat as a family every morning and dinner no matter what we are doing in our lives. With this little time we use it to let go of business and just be a normal dysfunctional family. I kiss my mother good morning and hug Mrs Torrio, "Good morning my princess Gigi, sleep well?" my mother says elegantly. "Morning mami! I was so warm last night, I hope you had a warm sleep too." I say as she hugs me tight. I am happy to be blessed with my mother's looks, she stands 5'2 with long platinum silver straight hair that reaches her bottom, not a single hair out of place. She has ice grey eyes that pierce your soul in the most loving way possible. She moved gracefully for a grand daughter of the most highest ranked Assassin. Naturally we are a tight knitted family and we like to keep our business an our family private. Lisa and Lucious's Torrio's son Levi is my brothers second and best friend. Their daughter is my best friend since birth, Liana. My mother insisted we eat out on the patio that over looks mother's huge garden and our backyard. It is a hot day today perfect for an outside seating. Liana and I place the last of the food on the table I take a final glance making sure everything is in its place. I have a knack for everything having a specific place, call it balance.The sweet aromas fill my nose. There was crispy bacon, sausages, steak, marinated chicken, eggs made in different ways, pancakes, waffles, french toast, crossoint's and variety of fruits and salads. My mother cooks with love which means her food is simply to die for. As if on cue the boys arrive home, my brother barges in then kisses my mother and me on the cheek. My brother is insanely tall for a ten year old he was 5'5 already. He gets that from our father whom is 6'4. He also takes after my father in the looks department, he has jet black hair that is styled back and ice blue eyes. I am positive when he is older he will be a giant. He takes his seat beside me and Levi takes his seat beside him who stares at me with infatuation everytime I am within his view. I smile to acknowledge him. He has always been so sweet an protective over me. Levi is also 5'5, tan with dirty blonde straight hair and bright green eyes taking after his father's looks. The rest of the men and boys take their seats acknowledging mother's sweet cooking. "Good morning my boys, how was your training this morning? How was the surprise I heard your father mention it to you yesterday, speaking of, boys where are your father's? their breakfast will get cold and they know we will not eat unless everyone is at the table." my mother says looking at his with concern. "Morning Donna Zara" everyone says in unison. "Hola mami, um, I think they are outside speaking to some blonde ladies" Haze responds idiotically, I could not help but elbow him with how blunt he just said that. "hmm, a lady huh? all right eat up I will not deprive my children and family of food just because they want to speak to a blonde lady. Eat up everyone I will be with you all in a moment." With that she walked outside with Mrs Torrio while we enjoyed what we didn't know would be our last breakfast from our mother. After a few moments my father and Lia's father comes in to take their usual seat and my mother and Mrs Torrio follows behind. Only now they look like they have been crying and is now frightened. My mother is strong mentally and physically she has overcome many challenges and has faced many challenges, I had never seen my mother scared in her life. No one said a word just continued eating and carried on about their day. As everyone left to do their daily antics, Lia and I head into my room to pick which outfits we should wear. My wardrobe even for a ten year old is endless so I let my best friend wear what she desires. We decide to go with matching leather jumpsuit. Lia does my hair in a high ponytail and I do the same for her. Liana is a gorgeous girl, she has black wavy hair the meets her middle back. Her eyes are forest green with tan skin. Her and Levi are also non identical twins born a day before us. Freaky right? our parents are gross but we are greatful for our best friends. "Hey Gia, who do you think our fathers were talking to? Levi isn't saying a word and mum's pretty upset. Okay really upset." "I'm not sure, I do not imagine they will hurt our mother's at their own home but I do detect something big is about to go down." I respond. "Thank you for doing my hair, I appreciate you. I am just going to check on my mother then we can hang out ok?" with that I hug my best friend as we part ways and I head right into my parents Master bedroom only to find my mother crying in bed. "Hola mami, what is wrong?" i jump on her bed, "Oh Mija, my sweet girl. A star plucked from the heavens. You come from a line that shine's so bright it demands respect and calls to all. Because of that people will try and take that from you. Your light may shine in all colours so do not be afraid of it. Embrace it for you are not only Genovese but a Korvez. You will understand when the time comes. Today I will be making a life altering decision that will not only affect me but you and your brother as well. You both will think of me selfish but know everything I do is for you and your brother. I have arranged something for you and your brother for your 20th birthday. You must both be here to receive it. Now i have to go away for a bit and your father may not be in his right mind in my absence should you ever need anywhere to go my girl you ring this number and you ask for your grand father Elzoro Vitali Korvez and you tell him your name is Gianna Zaramia Vitali Korvez Genovese. I will have a talk with your brother. Meanwhile Lia will need some support as her mother will also be joining me. Loyalty is everything Mija. Stick with each other and be careful who you trust. I am sorry I will miss a lot of important moments in your life my princess but I must do what I have to, to ensure the survival of my babies. I love you my Gigi.
