Chapter 18 After a shower and a late lunch, I spent a few moments arranging short bangs over the new butterfly bandage on my forehead. I checked the next thing on my ‘to do’ list, University’s computer records, then jumped into my truck. Although Good Friday was still three days away, the university’s parking lot was virtually empty when I arrived. The staff, faculty, and students that I did see, strolled the crosswalk past my truck unhurried. On the south lawn, a small group lazed under the shadow of a cherry tree.
