The joy in Amirat knew no bounds when she got a call from Mr Adams about 6:30 am in the morning saying her new car is now available. She has always longed to purchase the GLE 63 coupe. She rushed up from her bed, hurriedly brushed her teeth and put on her boubou gown, not minding how she looked. She called on Lara her cook to make her a sumptuous meal so that she could celebrate when she was back. By the time she got into her Lexus 330, Bello, her gateman had already opened the gate for her. He greeted her but she didn't respond as her mind was racing to her new car. She zoomed off immediately. Bello wondered why his boss left home that early as she always leaves her house by 10:00 am to her fashion hub. She is the owner of Luxe by Mirah located at 6, Kola palace Ibeju-Lekki. She is the only child of her mom but not of her dad. Her father was a promiscuous man who left her mother all alone to take care of her when she was only two months old and ran after everything under skirts. Amirat was speeding more than she used to. The drive to Bola Autos was about forty to forty-five minutes, but the early morning traffic made it appear longer. "Lagos and it's never stopping standstill, Amirat said while driving slowly. She got to Bola Autos at about 8:45 am. She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw her dream car directly in front of her, she almost cried her eyes out and was just showing gratitude to God in her own way. When she got home, her domestic staffs couldn't comprehend their boss's level of excitement, and for the first time in their lives, they sat with her in the dining room and ate the sumptuous meal Lara just prepared. Bello kept staring at Lara who was also dumbfounded at the sight of Amirat's happiness, but that doesn't mean they would repent of the evil they wanted to do to her. Her phones started buzzing full of phone calls and congratulatory messages. For Amirat, the most important phone call was from her friends Olamide and Iteoluwakishi known as Kish for short. Olamide Michaels is one of Amirat's close friends. She was born with a silver spoon and is currently working with a PR firm, she plans on establishing her firm soon but she wants to gain experience. She is diligent with her job and also cool. She relates well with her domestic staff unlike Amirat. "Let us go the beach and have fun together, you are all my family, said Ola to her domestic workers one sunny afternoon. Ola is the richest among the three friends but is referred to as the silent millionaire. She kept wondering how her friend was able to afford a GLE 63 coupe from being just a mere tailor. Ola replied saying, " The interior decor of your house is amazing, everything about you screams luxury, expect me for Christmas. The two friends hugged each other warmly and said "Glamorous for a reason". "What do you want me to offer you, please feel free Ola", Kish said. "Just water for now, Ola responded. Kish brought the water and Ola started with what brought her to her friend's place. "Kish I am not here for feferity, but about our friend Amirat". " What is it with her. We just celebrated her latest achievement. Hope no problem, Ola", said Kish. Ola responded saying, "Kish you and I know that Amirat doesn't have enough resources to get that luxurious car, we cannot deceive ourselves, she is just a mere tailor", who is not also very good at what she does if not for the help of the girl she hired.
