Breakfast With Jax

Phoenix picked up her phone and dialed Emily's number, feeling a bit lonely and wanting to talk to her friend.
"Hey Emily, it's Phoenix," she said, when Emily picked up.
"Hey, Phoenix, what's up?" Emily asked.
"Not much, just checking in on you. How are you doing?" Phoenix replied.
"I'm doing alright. Funny I was about to call you, I'm actually heading out of town to visit my mother for the holidays," Emily said.
"Oh, that's great! But wasn't that suppose to later in the week? I thought we were going to hang out before that.How long are you going to be gone for?" Phoenix asked.
"I'm not sure, probably a few weeks. I thought I was leaving Friday but because I'm forgetful , it was today and I'm stuck last minute packing.But I'll try to call you whenever I can especially when I'm about to leave and when I arrive okay?" Emily replied.
"You better! I thought you were just ditching but my slacker friend forgot the day she had to leave, well it does sound like you.So nothing to worry about " Phoenix chuckled
Phoenix head rustling on the other end of the line.She thought she should just end the call before she forgets what she needs to pack.
"Well that sounds good. Have fun with your mom, and be safe," Phoenix said.
"I will, don't worry. And you have fun while I'm gone, okay? Watch lots of movies and eat lots of popcorn,and possibly go to as much parties and maybe have a holiday hook up" Emily said, laughing.
Phoenix smiled. "I will have fun don't worry about me. But I won't be hooking up with any one!I'll keep myself entertained."
"Not even Ryan?Oh well holy Nix .Take care, I'll hit you up later kisses," Emily said, before hanging up.
Phoenix put her phone down and headed to the kitchen, feeling a bit better after talking to her friend.
As Phoenix walked out of her room and towards the kitchen, she was hit with the delicious aroma of breakfast cooking. She followed her nose and found Jax busy in the kitchen, whipping up a storm.
"Hey Jax, good morning," Phoenix said, smiling as she walked into the kitchen.
"Sup Phoenix," Jax replied, grinning at her. "I hope you don't mind, I started making breakfast."
Phoenix shook her head. "No, not at all. What are you making?"
"Well, I thought I'd make some pancakes, eggs and bacon," Jax said, gesturing towards the stove where the food was sizzling.
Phoenix's stomach rumbled at the mention of food. "That sounds amazing," she said, walking over to the counter where Jax had set out some plates and utensils.
As Jax finished cooking, Phoenix poured herself a cup of coffee and sat down at the table, eagerly awaiting her breakfast.
Jax plated up the food and joined her at the table. After breakfast, they cleared the dishes and settled onto the couch to start their movie marathon. It was a lazy day, but a good one, spent in good company with good food and entertainment.
Jax was on about going to Ryan's place and playing soccer with the other guys and asked Phoenix if she wanted to join them.
"No, you play soccer during the school just stay here with me and we'll figure out what to do" Phoenix pleaded
"But Princess, it's good work out.You don't see this body and muscles taking care of themselves" Showing off his abs and flexing his muscles
She choked on her drink as she saw his toned body.
"Mmh if he could just squeeze me with the sexy body of his and do other unholy things to my body I could just..." "No Phoenix , this is Emily's doing don't think of that!"Shaking her head trying to get rid of the explicit picture in her mind
"Princess are you okay?" Jax asked
Phoenix looked at him and continued what she was going to say before the interruption
"Come on, Jax, you have to stay and watch the Harry Potter marathon with me," Phoenix said, pleadingly.
Jax laughed. "I don't know, Phoenix. It's a long marathon. Are you sure you can handle it?" he teased.
Phoenix rolled her eyes. "Of course I can. I've been looking forward to this for weeks. Please?"
Jax grinned. "Alright, alright. I'll stay and watch the movies with you. But only if you promise to make me some of your famous popcorn," he said, winking at her.
Phoenix smiled. "Deal. Let's go set up the movies!"
Jax chuckles amused by her excitment"I just gotta text Ash that I won't be able to join them today."
They settled on the couch, with bowls of popcorn and drinks in hand, ready to embark on their marathon. As the movies started, they began to get caught up in the magic of the Wizarding World.
They laughed and cheered as Harry, Ron, and Hermione . They debated the merits of different spells and quidditch teams. And they marveled at the incredible world created by J.K. Rowling.They watched three movies in a row and Jax was getting hungry.
He suggested to make some lunch before embarking on the rest of the movies.
As Jax was busy cooking lunch in the kitchen, Phoenix decided to make some more popcorn. She went to the kitchen and started to prepare it.
"Hey Jax, how's it going?" Phoenix asked, as she put the popcorn in the microwave.
"Good, good," Jax replied, stirring a pot on the stove. "Just making some spaghetti and meatballs. You want to help me chop up some vegetables?"
"Sure," Phoenix said, grabbing a knife and a cutting board
As they worked together, they chatted and joked around. Phoenix loved spending time with Jax in the kitchen. They always had such a good time together, and she appreciated his sense of humor and his easygoing nature.
After they finished preparing the meal, they went back to the living room to resume their Harry Potter marathon. As they settled in, they dug into the spaghetti and meatballs, enjoying the delicious food and the movie.
