My stomach dropped when I pulled up to the site. There were two ambulances, two fire trucks, and over ten cops. I jumped out of my car, briskly walking over to where Greg stood next to an officer. “Greg, what happened?” I tried to keep my expression neutral, but I felt panic rising. “Officer Clark, give me just a moment.” Greg said to the officer, dismissing him. “It’s not good, Nathan.” Greg sighed, taking off his glasses he rubbed his tired eyes. “Talk to me, Greg.” I folded my arms across my chest, looking out at the scene before us. “A crane malfunctioned.” My head snapped to look at him. “What?” “It malfunctioned and dropped a load of supplies.” I looked at him in confusion, it wasn’t uncommon that supplies were dropped. “Okay? Some supplies were dropped, we can get more.” Gre
