Chapter 1: A World in Chaos
Have you ever wondered... how many souls truly exist in this vast universe?
Gods, spirits, demons, monsters... and humans.
Each soul follows its own path, its own purpose. No two are the same. There is no right — no wrong — only choices.
We were all once pure, unshaped souls.
People often say: "Three feet above your head, there are gods watching."
But has anyone ever truly seen a god? And if they have… where are those gods now?
I... used to be one of them.
In my time, gods, demons, spirits, beasts, and humans coexisted.
The history of that era is filled with the footprints of heroes and immortals.
I was an orphan, taken in by my master. For as long as I can remember, I lived in a small temple deep in the forest, alongside my master and two senior brothers.
Back then, our land was in chaos — torn apart by endless wars.
The Han people called our country "An Nam."
We were fortunate. Hidden in a remote forest temple, we remained untouched by the affairs of the world.
With no parents, my master once told me: "You carry no worldly attachments — your heart is unbound."
A nameless mortal in a human body, I stepped onto the path of cultivation.
I had never set foot in the human world — I felt nothing for it.
Master said I had the talent to ascend. And so, I had only one goal: to become a god.
But just as I neared the peak of the cosmos… something went wrong.
My body collapsed. My soul was torn apart. My memories scattered through the river of time.
No one knew what happened to me. No one searched.
I drifted, formless… until the day I opened my eyes again — 1,500 years later.
I awoke — in the body of a young girl.
No more golden divine light.
No more power to shake the heavens.
Only a lost soul, trembling in a strange, new world — carrying fragments of a shattered memory.
Who am I?
Why… am I here?
