Mind Blown

1467 Words
I have three weird men in my house. The scary guy left us. He left frustrated because I didn't want to leave the house. I insisted that my brother will come in the morning and I needed to stay. I saw him talked to these guys in a different language and left. So I guess they're staying. All of them are tall, lean and wearing black. This one guy who is standing, leaning on the wall beside our front door, has blonde hair with those red strands again. He is silent. His eyes never met mine. The other one is sitting on our sofa chair. He's playing his phone. But he didn't make any attempt to talk to me. And then this guy who's standing in front of me, all smile and cute. He has black hair, crimson eyes and the odd aura. But he smiled at me, and was about to start a conversation. "Sorry about that less than nice entrance we had," he apologized. I looked at him, not knowing what to say. All of them are snobbish except this one. "As if I have a choice, right?" I answered. "Well, before you have. Now, you don't anymore," he replied as if their conversation was all normal. If this guy is somehow kind, I may be able to ask him questions, right? "Why?" I asked. "Ahm, Lord Alov just marked you, remember?" he answered politely. How can he answer as if they were just talking about the weather? Alov? "Is that his name?" I asked. He nodded. "So you have a name?" I continued. "Ahm, yeah?" he answered. He looked like I gave him a weird question. "No, what I mean is... What are you?" I asked. And then I saw his eyes open wide. "Wait, what? You don't know?" he asked. Now he's confused. I can see it all over his face. He started looking at the two guys, one sitting on my sofa and the other one who is standing beside my door. I am really frustrated. Did I bumped in to the wrong people, if I could call them that? "I don't know you. All I know is that Alov saved me by killing the men who wants to kill me, some guy just told me to meet him outside and then you came, talking to the language I don't understand, Blake was gone and I am involved because he marked me. Oh, and I summoned the freaking wind." I gritted, trying not to lose my temper. "Who's Blake?" the nice guy asked. I raised my brow. "The guy who came here first," I answered him, not interested about his question. "He is no Blake," suddenly, the guy standing beside the door speaks. "Yeah," the nice guy agreed. That snapped every inch of my patience. "Would you be so kind and enlighten me here?!" I shouted at them. "Please don't be mad. You are seriously calling your element and Lord Alov is not here. And your blood is humming to the others that they can eat you. There's only three of us here to protect you," he begged. I feel like I'm losing my s**t. "I don't understand." I whispered in soft, quiet and confused voice. I let my self collapsed on the floor and cover my face with my hands. "My name is Galar. The one on the phone is Herev and that guy standing beside your door is Kloz. We are here to protect you until you are finally moved at the Wraquesh," the nice guy suddenly introduced himself and the other two. "Rakesh?" I asked. "Our home. It's like a city, a fortress of some sort. Lord Alov will protect you. You are his, ahm, well...It's complicated. I'd rather he tell you that part. If you come with us, Flezry can explain it to you better," he explained. I can see his struggle of explaining it to me. But I appreciate him starting it. "If I don't?" I asked. "Huh?" he asked. I'm not sure if he didn't hear me or if he didn't understand. "If I don't want to go with you?" I clarified. He looked at me, trying to see if I'm serious or not. "That will make things more complicated. Your family will be harmed. Your brother too..." he whispered. I can feel that he wanted to say it in a nice way, but I can also feel that he's hesistant. "I don't have a family. It's just me and my brother. If I come to you, he will be alone. I can't leave him here alone," I explained it. I unconciously looked at the wall clock. It's almost midnight. "Alov won't like it. You are more than enough of a burden to us," the man beside the door spoke. His voice sounded like the Alov guy. Dangerous. "Hey, Kloz! Stop with your grumpy old man act. That's not helping," Galar chided. I heard my heart skipped as Kloz flashed his way in front of me and Galar. I blinked. He went to me from that wall, and I swear to God it was meters away, in split second. And as much as he was quick, Galar was able to held his hand. From being nice to being serious. My heart was freaking out. It was freaking out inside but I can't find a way to express it. I was just standing between them, dumbfounded. "Don't," I heard Galar whispered. I'm feeling the wind between them. It was hot and electrifying because I can feel the goosebumps all over me. "You can't be serious. She's a threat. My brother can't have her," he fought while struggling to remove his arm from Galar's grip. "Please tell me what's happening?" I begged. I'm feeling my cheeks warmed and my eyes are about to shed tears. "You really want to know? You are our food which happens to be just a special kind. But bottom line is, still food. You are nothing but red-iron water, lowest form of races---" "But special?" I fought back. There is no way in f*****g hell I will let this scary weirdo to talk me down. No way! They both shut up. "Right? I'm special, because why waste time for me if I'm not?"I asked him. Don't back down now, Flare. Not now. "What's happening here, Kloz?" said that familiar baritone voice. Everybody shut up. That commanding voice of him that screams authority will make anyone to shut up. He's back. The boss guy named Alov. Same crimson eyes, gorgeous face and all his perfect features. Kloz freed himself from Galar's hand and walked away. He didn't answer Alov. He was just gone insantly. I'm really going to lose my mind here. "Your brother has been transferred to my place. You and him will be under my protection. Now, come." It's not a question nor asking a permission. It was a command that needs to be followed. So now, I'm going to be his servant too? "Hold on a sec here. What are you doing with my brother again? Are you telling me to live with you? Like your house? No way. No freaking way!" I started to panic. "If you want to die, I can leave you here. But once your dead, I am no longer responsible for your brother's safety. Which means, he's going to be alone," he whispered in my ears, holding some of my hair. "Why? Why is my life at risk?" I asked him. I'm feeling my lips trembled and my voice shaking- even my knees. "Because the air that runs in your blood has been long gone, until you came. I have Flezry who can explain it better for you. But you have to come with us," he answered, exasperated. I narrowed my eyes. "I know you're irritated with all my questioning but you don't expect me to just come with you, right? You killed two men the other day. You're coming out off nowhere and that guy just came to me from that wall in a blink of an eye. And then he disappeared like he's some kind of a magician. Like, what the hell?" I confronted him. "I am running out of patience here, young lady. I told you, someone from my house will explain it to you. You can leave after you heard everything you want to know. Are you coming?" he asked but didn't wait for my answer. He was suddenly gone and by gone means, he disappeared. "Please, Flare?" Galar pleaded, offering his hand to me. I don't have much choice. Aside from they have my brother, I need to know them. I held his hand and felt the wind all over my body and I am suddenly transported to a different place.
