Giovanni POV
New day, different problems. Whatever spell Princess had me under last night, I sure as hell didn’t mind. I wanted her in so many ways. As my lover, my friend, and my queen.
Sigh.
Last night Jason called, warning me that a few Black Bone Crew members approaching the club. He kept nagging me to get out before s**t got out of control. Even though the conversation lasted for a few seconds. This was the reason why I had stayed away from the club for so long. I took a chance last night, but of course, Marcus is a persistent son of a b***h. He wanted me to give up some of my warehouses and shipments. He is a child playing in a man’s world.
I am curious as to why he wants them so bad and why he isn’t hitting Santini. I mean, I know why he wants my shipping. I have got the best-tasting weed right now and guns. Maybe I have gone soft, but no worries, his pride will soon be short-lived. He just came up into this business and really felt he could take me on.
Tonight was the forced dinner by my aunt. I wore a military green fitted shirt, rolling the sleeves up, black jeans, and black Nike huarache sneakers. I put on the all-black watch that Princess got me, and I was ready to go.
Sadly what stood in front of my door is a fuming, angry Italian woman, Olivia.
“Going somewhere?!” She spoke louder than she needed to.
“Clearly I am, now move.” I locked my front door. I had to get new locks because Ms. I-love-you-but-I-don’t-want-to-be-with-you wouldn’t give back the spare key that I gave her. She still hadn’t moved out of my way, so I moved her. I picked her up, tossing her over my shoulders. I went over to her car and dropped on the hood of it with more force than intended to. Thinking she would stay there, I turned to go to my truck.
Black beauty, Chevy Silverado. Custom bulletproof doors and windows. All windows are tinted dark, I can see clear as day outside, but no one can see inside.
She is a beauty.
Olivia kept yelling, and I continued to ignore her. Until said asked... “Is there someone else?” What exactly did I see in this crazy woman?
“Look, Olivia, what we had was fun, but come on, get over it. And besides, me, no love you no more.” I told her it was a bit harsh, but what the hell. The gentle way clearly wasn’t working.
“There is someone! Who’s the b***h Giovanni?!” Again, what does it matter to her? I can’t do this right now.
“Leave my property, or I will make you leave.” I gave her a bored expression because I am bored with this conversation. Our last break-up was the last of it.
“I will make your life a living hell.” She stormed off, jumping in her BMW and speeding off.
Olivia’s threat in the least bit did not faze me. If anything, I think she forgot she was the gateway to hell itself. I hopped in my truck and drove to my aunt’s house.
2 hours later, I reached Aunt Jess’ house, and from the cars parked outside, the close family is here. I parked behind Hendrick. I got out and made my way to her door. I’m near the door, and I can hear loud chatter. As I open it, it becomes louder. My family is loud, and I love it.
“Ma! Aunt J threatened me!” Everyone’s head turned to me. My mom swats her sister playfully. And everyone lets out a loud greeting in between each other. They return to what they were doing right after.
I greeted my mom and dad with a kiss on their cheeks. I hugged my sisters Angelica, Serena, and Noemi, my brothers Nicolo and Michele. Nicolo and Michele do not live in the States, but they fly out twice a month to come to the family get-togethers. I fist bump my cousins Jason, Francesco, and the twins Lorenzo and Leonardo were here too. Hendrick has a thing for my sister Serena, so of course, he’s here, that and the fact that Aunt Jessica threatened him.
The boys and I went out back by the pool table. The backyard has a pool table, a pool, of course, and a dartboard. But instead of throwing darts, we throw knives. A nice gazebo and a few meters away is the grill.
My family didn't know about Princess. The only ones that knew I was seeing someone was Hendrick, my brothers, and my cousins. It was a debate amongst the guys and my father, rather I should tell Princess myself or not.
My sister Noemi came out with a tray of drinks, my aunt and mom right behind her. We each grab a beer. I took a sip of mines and Noemi gasp. I have the weirdest sister ever.
“You’re having s*x!” I choked on my beer, and the fellas laughed. Noemi can be so randomly weird.
“Why wouldn’t he be? He’s a grown man, Noemi,” Francesco said. He threw his beer cap at her.
“p***y be falling at his feet.” Leonardo sang out. We call him Leo.
“You guys are so rude,” Noemi said. I just shook my head and enjoyed my beer.
“Hey, how about I set you up on someone great,” Aunt J said. I’m starting to believe that she went into the wrong business. She should have been a matchmaker. Aunt J is always trying to hook someone up.
“No, thanks!” I shook my head. Princess was the first person that I thought of and then the date that Nicolo had. Poor Nicolo.
“What? Why not?” Aunt J asks, surprised. Everyone broke out talking over each other.
“Did you forget what happened to Nicolo!” We all laughed, and I tapped Nicolo’s shoulder.
Nicolo’s date turned out to be a shemale! The good thing is she was honest about it, having a v****a and d**k or a d**k and no v****a. I really don’t want the details of it.
We continued talking amongst each other. Most of the time, it was me, the twins, and Jason, telling aunt J to stop hooking people up. She was horrible at it.
“Hey, where did you get that watch from? I don’t remember buying you that.” My mom’s eyes are a little too observant for my part. But I shouldn't be surprised, leave it to an Italian mother to notice the littlest of things about their children.
“Who’s up for a game of darts?!” I started an uproar, avoiding my mom’s question. I could feel her eyes on me, though. Before I got on the pool table, I texted Princess but got no reply.
