Ava sat in the quiet library flipping through a book. She felt like being in the library might just be the perfect place for her to escape all the madness in the world.
She still couldn’t believe what happened in the morning. How two devastatingly handsome guys were fighting over her.
Her mind went back to Roy Carter, he was so tall and handsome, tingles went up and down her spine as she remembered how close she was to him. And Daniel, she didn’t know who he was but she found him attractive too.
Ava knew she was beautiful and was adored by the male gender, but that wasn’t enough to make her the center of attention on the first day of school. Especially since she had decided to be on a low key. The last thing she wanted was anymore drama.
But little did she know that in Winston Academy, drama was always the order of the day.
It was craved for by everyone. For the students of Winston were spoilt rich children who wanted the attention they couldn’t get from their parents. They didn’t care about their actions or the consequences thereof, because they knew their money could solve any problem and if it didn’t more money will.
As Elinor walked into the library it became dead silent, more silent than it already was. The sound of her heels were the only thing that audible as they drew closer and closer to Ava.
“Hello princess,” Elinor said, a smug expression on her face as she dropped the cup of latte she had snatched from a student earlier on Ava’s book, it spilled on her book and some even splashed on her uniform.
“Oh, so clumsy of me,” Elinor snickered while her two minions giggled behind her.
Ava looked down at her stained shirt, she tried to clean the stain with an handkerchief but it only made it worse.
“What the f**k is wrong with you?” She yelled at Elinor. “What do you want from me?”
A sly grin spread across Elinor face and she leaned over to Ava. Ava could catch a whiff of her perfume as Elinor face was directly above her.
“I want you to leave this school and never return,” Elinor replied in a cool and calm manner, “You don’t belong here”.
“And you get to decide what I do, because....?” Ava asked Elinor, her eyes fixed on her as she tried to understand what gave her the right to command her. She looked around as she saw people eyeing them, no one butted it, they all sat there, either buried in their books or taking pictures of them.
“I’m Elinor McGregor,” Elinor bragged. “And anything I say goes”.
Of course Ava knew who she was, Elinor’s face was clearly plastered on almost every billboard in the city.
And her father was well know around the world. He graced the covers of business magazines.
But Ava didn’t care, no spoilt self-entitled daddy’s girl would tell her what to do.She sat back, crossed her arms and raised her eyebrows.
“And if I don’t what will you do?”
“I will make your days in Winston Academy living hell Ava Williams,” Elinor threatened, caressing Ava’s hair. “It will be so bad, that you will crawl back to your little hole and wish you were never set your foot here in the first place”.
Ava slapped her hand away and glared at her. She knew girls like her, girls that spent their whole life oppressing others so that can be on top, Superficial girls who cared about nothing but their looks and their parents money.
She knew them so well because she was once like that. She was once a girl who bullied any other person who tried to steal the spotlight from her, who had people bowing for her as she walked. But she had left that life at her former school and most importantly she didn’t have time for Elinor’s crap.
“I know you’re so shallow, that you thought the only way you can feel good about yourself is by picking on other people,” Ava replied Elinor, sizing her up. “So instead of wasting my precious time why don’t you run along to your plastic surgeon to fix or add more Botox to that broken heart of yours”.
“I have no time for your stupid whining,” Ava added. She stood up,grabbed her and walked out of the library, hitting Elinor on the way out.
Elinor stood there dumbfounded, she couldn’t believe Ava talked to her like that. She was Elinor Windsor the daughter of Walters Elliot McGregor in front of the whole school.
Her phone chimed with a notification from IT Blog. She looked down and read what was written:
Doesn’t today keep getting better and better ladies and gentlemen,
Our Queen B, Elinor McGregor was downgraded by the newbie, Ava Williams(her name is so basic right?)
The videos and photos attached to the message shows Ava disgracing our royal highness at the library today.
Not only did she call her shallow, she also said her opinions doesn’t matter anymore.
Maybe Elinor McGregor is no longer important in Winston.
Is it true that the only thing Elinor McGregor has in her brain is lots and lots of botox.
Yikes!!!!
That’s so nasty.
Anyway, I think I’m loving this new girl.
She might just bring our dear Queen B to her knees.
Even though her name is basic, she clearly has potentials.
Till next time, Elites

“f**k!!!” Elinor screamed loudly throwing her phone on the floor before smashed it with the sole of her shoe. No one dared to look at her.
She breathed heavily and turned towards Genesis and Cordelia.
“Dig up every dirt on Ava Williams, every single one” she yelled “I am going to destroy her”.
