Eleanor walked furiously down the hallway in her long pink stilettos.
The noise they made as she moved was enough to draw attention to her way.
Behind her were her two best friends, Cordelia and Genesis, or as people in Winston Academy called them, her minions.
Cordelia and Genesis has been with since she could remember, they always did her biddings and never questioned her.
Students stood along the way whispering to each other as they strode down the long hallway of Winston.
No one dared to get in their way.
“Her name is Ava... it’s so basic”, Cordelia spoke disgustedly while looking down at her phone covered with black leather case.
“I know right, and worse I can’t find anything about her on the internet”, Genesis replied typing furiously on her phone. “Does she even exist?”.
“Why would Daniel and Roy be fighting over her?”, Eleanor asked. “She isn’t even that pretty”.
Eleanor was crossed.
“If guys were supposed to be fighting over anyone, it she should be her and not some new girl who came out from God’s knows where” she thought.
That was all she ever think of after she read the The IT blog that morning while she was in class.
The IT Blog was the daily blog handled and written by the school’s journalist team.
It was the gossip blog of Winston Academy and anything written there could make or mare a student.
Because it wasn't just rumors, everything written on the blog was true.
Winston Academy comprised mostly of rich, sophisticated and elite young adults around the world.
Children of rich business men, presidents, celebrities, ambassadors e.t.c so their reputation in and out the school mattered to them.
Eleanor needed to find out who Ava was and why the two hottest guys in the school were fighting over her.
She had to; not only was she an influencer with over a million followers on i********: and about 700 thousand on Twitter.
She was the Queen B of Winston Academy.
She was literally the girl that ruled the school.
Every girl wanted to be her but they couldn’t.
How could they, her family was devastatingly rich.
They owned houses all over the world ranging from expensive villas to mega mansions.
Her clothes were either custom made or straight out of the runway.
Her walk-in wardrobe was two times bigger than most people’s entire house.
She owned the most expensive diamond jewelries, and graced the covers of millions of teen and fashion magazines.
Eleanor had blonde hair, glossy skin, slender eyebrows and a fit athletic figure.
She was beautiful, but most of her beauty relied on heavy makeup, touch ups and excessive use of botox and fillers.
She stopped walking and turned to the 7 foot mirror standing in the school hallway, as she adjusted her name tag on the blazer she wore.
‘Eleanor McGregor’, was written on the tag.
McGregor, her name meant everything to her.
The McGregor’s were well known in the Upper East side of New York City.
Her father owned an investment banker and her mother did absolutely nothing.
That’s what the Rich Housewives of the UpperWest side did.
They spent their time getting plastic surgery, shopping, dining out and throwing lavish parties.
They had rich social clubs they attended once a week, which they use an excuse to showcase their insanely costly outfits, jewelries and new cars.
To them that was their work and they excelled at it.
Eleanor parents were one of the biggest donators of Winston Academy.
They were also alumni of the school, and so were their parents before them.
Eleanor hardly saw her parents, they were always traveling to different places and going on vacations and never made time for her.
She didn’t mind as long as they made it up to her with very expensive gifts:
..... Channel bags, Louis Vuitton coats, varieties of cars, a ridiculously expensive yacht on her 16th birthday, a multimillionaire dollar trust fund.......
How could anyone want to complete with that.
She was the richest girl in Winston Academy and that made her do whatever she liked, whenever she liked.
But Eleanor wanted one other thing to add to her collection of things she owned.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t just a thing she could buy with her money, it was a person.
It was Roy Nicolás Carter.
Roy Carter was the only son of Don Alberto Carter.
Don Alberto Carter was the most famous business mogul in New York City.
He once graced the cover of Forbes Magazine and was listed as one of the 100 most influential people in Times Magazine.
He was hardly ever seen because of his busy schedule.
The Carters were the richest and most influential family in the Upper East side of New York.
They ruled the entire community and anything they said was never debated.
.....And Roy was the only heir to their vast fortune.
Not only that, he was handsome, smart and charming.
Every girl not only in Winston Academy, but the world at large wanted to date him.
Eleanor knew if she had him, their relationship will not only make her more famous, but will complete her perfect Queen status as he would be her ‘Prince Charming’.
“Where is the new girl?” Eleanor asked, still standing in front of the mirror, while she applied more makeup to her already baked up face.
“A student just spotted her at the library” Genesis said showing Eleanor her a picture of Ava on her phone.
“What do you want to her, Elle?” Tanya asked Eleanor.
“I’m going to have a chat with our little princess” she smirked. “There can only be one Queen B in this school and it’s me”.
