Today was exhausting but also great. I got to spend more time with my daughter as well as see all the people that I love and who love me back. It's been crowded in my hospital room all day, people filing in and out to say hi and see how Lily and I were doing. It was great to see my parents again. My mom couldn't hold back her tears when she came in. As for my dad, I could tell he was trying really hard not to copy my mom but I saw a stray tear in the corner of his eye. They have clearly been worried about me, but as soon as they saw Lily, the sparkle in their eyes came back and the mood shifted, everyone enthralled by her. It was cute seeing my dad cooing at her.
