Enrique Cortez is the third first son in his family who is responsible for taking up the mantle of Viscount after his father.
He dedicated his life to watching over his sister, enjoying his bachelor life and learning to be the Viscount his father was. However, he let the time escape him and he failed to marry.
After years of womanizing he believes the most important part of a marriage is carnal pleasure- with his duties of an older brother, uncle, friend and Viscount, he knows that he won’t have time or interest for love.
As long as he and his wife can pleasure one another in bed and present themselves as a couple in public, he would be satisfied.
Rachel Thompson grew up seeing hatred and violence between her parents and saw her older brother marry for advantageous purposes. She doesn’t believe in love and has a secret that she believes makes her even more unlovable and undesirable. She hid it from everyone and only her brother and mother know why she distances herself from any sort of intimacy.
But as she and Enrique spend time together, life proves them both wrong and they find love, comfort and acceptance with one another.
