Step one: Get my power back.
If I followed the righteous route, it would take forever. Too long, and I could not let Corvina win. I wanted what they could possibly want, snatch it while they watched.
That would be my greatest first gift.
But it wasn’t exactly easy to do that. There were four men with enough power that could make it happen with a single word, and those were the men I stood before.
I knew they wouldn’t just agree.
I had thought it through. Asher might seem nice to me, but I knew that there had to be something else on the side. Cassien was unreadable. That expression of his always remained the same.
