Ace POV
"How do you wish to get paid ?" He asked.
" How do you wish to get paid? "
Asking him back. I'll accept his offer if it suits me, but if it doesn't, he'll have to agree to mine. In a way where I can be able to express my gratitude to his family for taking care of Llacza's family, if that's the case...and live my life freely. An agreement that can benefit both of us.
" I witnessed how you defended my sister from the attacker. I'm not sure what your motive was, but I'm grateful for your help. My sister doesn't like having guards around her, even though I always warn her about security and safety. She's going to college soon and I'm concerned because the school doesn't allow guards on campus. Could you be her protector?" He explained
"Why should I put myself in danger? And how do you know she's safe with me?" .
He's powerful and rich, with lots of options, even though he said I save his sister, which is not. How could he entrust her sisters life to strangers. How sure he is that I'll guarantee her safety.
" I trust my judgement" He said that makes me smirk . And I saw how his eyebrow raised like a slut.
" You didn't answer my first question. " I said
" You, Yourself is danger enough in which I can entrust my sister safety. "
I can blow his head off in one shot however his face shows how he meant his words.
" I'll take that as a compliment. I'll agree to your conditions, but you have to do the same for me or we'll never see each other again. I'll protect your sister, on and off campus, in my own style. And you'll locate Llacza's son or my brother by any means necessary."
He consented immediately and we made a deal. This way, I could have two identities: one as Ace, who watched over Alexandria's safety, and another as Trasie Llacza, whom I asked Alexander to introduce to the society.
He gave me the papers for my second identity. And some papers about Alexandria, her friends, school information and usual hangouts for the past months.
"Out of me and my sister, Alexandria's life is always at risk. Our competitors in the business industry are after her, especially Jimson company. And she was a victim of bullies at her previous school."
He said with sorrow in his voice.
His sister seemed like an angel, easy to talk to, friendly and understanding, and she was someone who could be easily used, abused or taken advantage of. She should have learned how to defend and protect herself at her age. I could tell she lacked emotional intelligence, and her awareness is low.
"Our father died 10 years after your parents were killed, while my mom passed away 2 years ago. After the tragedy to your family, my mom locked me and my sister inside the house. I was 10 years old back then, while Alexandria was 3... That's why everything outside this house fascinates her. She's smart, but her behavior is childish. I hope you understand."
He said helplessly. As if he answered my question in mind.
He didn't realize he was just like his sister, his mood shifted constantly. And he is quick to anger. I could tell it is hard for him to trust.
"I appreciate you opening up. That must have been tough for you to handle all by yourself. I'll look through this file. And follow through with our deal."
I said as I turned my back and headed out of his mansion. Before I got swept up in his emotions.
"Where are you going? You can stay here for the night if you want."
He said in his usual tone, Bipolar. I said nothing as my mind was loud enough to deal with him.
"How can I reach you? In case?" He asked again.
Mr. Wang saw me and came up to me.
"I'll show myself when I want to not when he wish."
I said and left, No one owns me this time and head out not knowing where my feet would take me.
I needed time to connect to my feelings and emotions right now, because I didn't want to be blindly connected to my heart. That could lead me into trouble.
