The brief "get to know you" type meeting with my new bodyguards went better than I expected it to. I was worried that Cody had inadvertently chosen someone who might have been a former bully, but he didn't, which I considered nothing less than a miracle since most of the pack had bullied me at one time or another.
After the meeting, we went downstairs for dinner. We ate with Janine and Kyle, and David joined us too.
