I had never been so relieved to leave a building before. Something about being near the cells gave me the creeps, even though watching Jessup in action had been nothing short of hilarious.
After we walked a few feet away from the building, Jessup put a hand on Cody's arm to stop us.
"I didn't want them to hear what I'm about to tell you," he said. "I know they probably won't be able to speak to their so-called Alpha again - even though the idea of a rogue Alpha makes me laugh - but I didn't want to take any chances. Dude, if there's any chance those losers in your cells are working with my sister, it's going to make it really hard to keep them out of the territory."
