A Broken Soul and A Broken Heart

Chapter seven

Third POV

Celia sat down on a chair close to both beds were Darius and Aleera was sleeping, she had been sitting there since she gave the stative to Darius to help him sleep. He had not slept so much since Aleera was taken, she and the others of the pack member was delighted when they find out that Darius had accepted Celia's offer, now he can rest and have his energy back. 

When Celia did not did her check-ups on Aleera she sat down and read her book, The Assassin's Blade by Sarah J. Maas, she had just bought the book collection she loved to read 

'Celaena Sardothien is her kingdom's most feared assassin. Though she works for the powerful and ruthless Assassin's Guild, Celaena yields to no one and trusts only her fellow killer for hire, Sam.' 

When Celia found the book she read the synopsis and she fell in loved with it and just had to get the whole series. When the morning came she had mind linked Cassie to prepare breakfast for Darius, thanks to the sedative he had been asleep for nine hours. Cassie came into the room with breakfast so Darius could eat when he woke up. Sadly Aleera did not give any signs that she was about to wake up. After her weird seizure, yesterday and they had to Intubation so she could get air they did not expect her to wake up soon. The monitor she was connected to show that, her heard beep was normal and that she got enough with oxygen. 

"Did anything more happened?" Cassie asked her sister 

"No everything has been good all night, I just hope that she will wake up soon, Darius is not himself without her, he will crash if she doesn't wake up," Celia said back to her sister 

"While you have been sitting here sister I have done some recharge, Aleera can be in a come up to two weeks if not a month or a year, her body has gone through so much and it need to heal, and I am afraid she will be in this state for a long time," Cassie said to her sister when she had her eyes glued at her luna that was sleeping so peaceful. 

"I know, but I do hope it will not be that long, two weeks fine but not longer, we will not manage it, especially Darius, he is already so broken, his heart is broken for his loss, I don't think he can take much more of pain and loss," Celia said back to her sister. 

When Cassie was about to answer her sister Darius started to move and slowly started to wake up and both the sister we're by his side immediately. Darius slowly opened his eyes

"How long was I asleep?" Darius asked Celia

"You have been asleep for nine hours, " Celia said back to him 

He moved his head to his right side and looked at Aleera that was asleep and still connected to machines and she still had the tube down her throat. 

"Any signs?" Darius asked Celia 

"No," she said back to him 

Darius did not give any answer back to them he just moved his head back to he was looking up to the ceiling, Celia came up to him. 

"We have breakfast for you," Celia said to him 

"Thanks" was to only think he said back

Celia helped Darius to sit up in his bed so he could eat his breakfast. On the palate, it was egg and bacon and toast, but that portion of the food looks more like for three people than for one person. Darius ate up his breakfast. While he was eating Celia did her check-ups on Aleera, writing done everything on a paper so she could fill it in journals on the computer later. When Celia was done Darius had gotten himself out of the bed, he turned around to look at Celia 

"Thanks for everything, " Darius said to Celia and she smiled at him 

"Your welcome, I hope you had a good rest because in my eyes you needed it," Celia said back to him 

"Yes, it was good, and as you said it was needed, it was not just in your eyes I guess it was in everyone's eyes," Darius said back to her, Celia nodded her head to his answer. 

"Will you or Cassie stay here with Aleera in meantime I go back to the packhouse to have a shower and change my clothes?" Darius asked Celia

"One of us will always stay by Aleera's side so you can go and if anything changes we will mind like you," Celia said back to Darius 

Darius walked over to Aleera's right side and leaned down and placed a kiss on her forehead 

"Come back to me, please" Darius whispered to her when he had kissed her forehead, after the kiss, he turned around and walked towards the door so he could go back to the packhouse to have a shower and change his clothes. Celia and Cassie was left in the room

"I can stay you go and take a few hours and sleep you have been here all night," Cassie told her sister 

"I will be in the room next to here and if anything happened to come and get me or mind link me right away, " Celia said back to her sister and Cassie nodded to her sister's request. Celia gave her notes to Cassie and walked out of the room to the room beside the room and get some sleep. 

Cassie was left in the room with Aleera that was sleeping. Cassie looked over her sister's notes from the night. Cassie sat down on the same chair Celia had been sitting on under the night and open a book she had gotten for the packhouse library and it was about medical care. She has been studied medical care because she wanted to be a doctor like her sister. Their mother had been the pack doctor when Darius's parents were the Alpha and the Luna when that we're alive. Cassie was reading when the sound of coughing interrupted her and the monitor started to beep and she flew up from the chair and ran to Aleera's side. While she was beside her she was trying to figure out what was happening this time. Aleera was getting air thanks to the tube and she had Iv drip, her heart beeps had been good. 

Cassie took her stethoscope to place it over Aleera's heart but she never made it there, just when Cassie was inches away for Aleera's chest a hand grabbed hers and two light blue eyes looked right into here's and Cassie let out a scream.
