A Broken Soul and A Broken Heart

Chapter five

Third POV 

Everybody was standing there totally in shock was it real, what they saw, did they all see that the dead body of their luna on the funeral pyre was breathing. This can't be true, could it? We all had seen her lifeless body when Darius and the worries came back from the war and when he carried her out from the hospital wing to the pyre, they all had also felt the connection between them and the luna was gone because she was dead and now all saw that her body was breathing. 

Darius was about to fell to his knees when James grabbed his shoulder to hold him up, but James's grip on Darius's shoulders faintly disappeared when Aleera's body started to move slightly, and Darius fell to his knees and his eyes were glued to her body on the funeral pyre. Darius could not understand this how can she be alive when she died in his arms two days ago. 

Darius did not move after he had fallen to his knees and his breath was fast and every breath he took it was like it got but in his throat. He could not take in the scene in front of him, he had lost her and now he saw that she was breathing and moving slightly, it took a few minutes before Celia walked up to Aleera and she looked at her and she placed her hand on her neck to feel her pulse and she find it, she turned her head to Darius 

“Darius, she is alive,” Celia said to him, and her words brought him out of his trans and he pushed himself up from the ground and he walked fast up to the pyre and he looked down on her body and he saw more clear now that she was breathing, he grabbed her hand that he had placed on her chest earlier, he held it tight between both his hands

“Aleera, darling” Darius said to her in the hope she would answer him.

Both he and Celia saw that Aleera was moving her lips slightly and wipers 

“Darius”

Darius smiled grew big and tears escaped his eyes when he heard Aleera whispered his name. 

“Darius, get her and we need to take her to the hospital wing,” Celia said to him

Darius scooped his arms under Aleera body and lifted her up and carried her to the hospital wing and Celia and Cassie were in the led. Many of the pack members followed after them because they wanted to know what the hell was going on. Of curse, they all were happy that their luna was back from the dead but they were worried right now, they hope that they not will lose her again because no one had the strength to go through that again and especially not Darius. Everyone stade outside waiting meantime Darius and Celia and Cassie was in the hospital with the now alive luna

Darius POV

I placed her body on the bed that Celia and Cassie pointed to, I was standing on her right side and Celia on her left side placing ECG patch on her so they could monitor her heartbeat, that also put a breathing tube under her nose so they would be for sure she got enough oxygen. When Celia had put on the ECG machine I could hear her heart. 

Beep.

Beep.

Beep.

I grabbed her hand once again between mine both hands. I could still not believe that she came back to life after two days as dead. If she wakes up I would be the happiest person in this word. 

"Darius, I have up a chair here for you," Cassie said to me and I nodded my head as thanks and I sat down beside Aleera. I looked over at Celia 

"Do you have any exploration of this?" I asked Celia 

"No Darius I have no idea, " she said back to me 

"Do you think she will wake up soon, especially after she has been dead for two whole days," I asked her 

"No, I have no idea for that either, but we will take day by day and we should be happy that she is back to life, even if we have to wait for days for her to wake up, this is a miracle that she even is alive," Celia said back to me. 

"Yes, it is, and I am happy that she is back even if I can't explain it, and I do hope she will wake up soon," I said back to her 

Celia nodded her head to me and both her and her sister left the room to give me some privacy with my luna. I sat beside her the whole night, I heard her mumble in her sleep my name over and over again and every time I looked at her in hope she woke up but she didn't wake up. Celia came in a few times under the night to check up on her and James came in to see how it was with me and asked me if Aleera had woken up because everyone wanted to know if she had woken up. But every time I sad no she has only mumble in her sleep. 

When the morning came she had still not waken up and it started to worries me, but Celia said that Aleera would wake up when she is ready I just have to wait until then. Celia had told me that I should get something to eat, have a rest and take a shower but I said that I will not leave her side, but she had said that she would sit by her side and mind-link me if anything changes. Even if it pains me I did as she said and left to eat and have a shower but I would go back after that and sit by her side, I can rest beside her in the chair or have a better rest when she has woken and lays beside me in our bed. So the only time I left her side was when I had to eat and take a shower otherwise I sat beside her. 

I have tried to mind-link her and her wolf Pixie but I did not get any answer back from her, sometimes when I was holding her hand I could feel light squeezes from her, and every time I felt hope that I did not had to wait longer. I looked forward to the day she would wake up and I could see her eyes again.
